    I finally succumbed, and watched the first four episodes of MLP.
    Amazing.
    I already knew I'd like it, based off other people who share similar tastes as me, but it really is great.

    Stick Shift

    So I drove my dad's stick shift Volkswagen Bug for the first time today. I've got the whole gear change thing down until I stop. I stalled eight times at one stop sign.
    It is a lot harder then I thought it'd be.

    I see you've made the jump successfully.
     
    So, as for what I did this summer, a lot actually. I went to scout camp, where I did some black smithing, knife throwing and black powder shooting. Which was pretty awesome.
    I went on tour with my choir all the way up to Maine.
    I started a new semester of college, taking Calculus 174, English 111, and Physics 241. 12 credits, and it's ridiculous.
    I worked through an enormous amount of old video games,

    Whew, yeah I've been bored.
     
    Now onto the more depressing stuff, be warned, it's pretty depressing.
     
    I was diagnosed with Depression, a mild for of Psychopathy, and was told I will be at an advanced risk of Schizophrenia when I turn 20. So yeah, that kinda sucks.
    Other depressing stuff includes my little sister attempting suicide, she's doing well now, and is in counseling. But it's still pretty weird around here.
     
    I warned you it'd be depressing, didn't I?
     
     
    Attempting to leave this entry on a happy note, a friend of mine is getting married!
    Were going to go up to Ohio to see her soon and help with stuff, so that's cool.
     
    Anyways, glad the forums are back. Time to get back to postin'!

    Anyone have any recommendations for a good shortish anime? Something 20-40 episodes long, and viewable legally?
    Preferably something with a Death Notish type vibe. Crime anime is fun.

    Recent Events

    So, I recently got back from a weekend retreat with my choir. It was loads an loads of fun, we played lots of ping pong on our off time.
    Since I haven't gotten a lot of time off since then because of school and whatnot; I thought I'd give a bit of an update.
    Happiest thing is that I got a proto boost from Than for reporting large amounts of sigs. Made my day.
    Still trying to find a way to get Portal 2. No money is no fun.
    My sister turned twenty on Sunday, so we went out to a really nice Italian place. Where I proceeded to get food poisoning, so I still feel like crud from that.
     
    So yeah, I'm ready for the school year to be over. Please.

    So my Psych professor sent out an e-mail attached with a take home test. Yet he failed to add a due date. I'm supposed to do yard work all weekend, and my Calc homework, all before Monday. And now a test apparently. I don't really know because he DIDN'T SEND A DUE DATE!!!

    However, the bright side to this is that it is a take home test, meaning there is little pressure when doing it. Just pressure as to when I can do it.

    I'm not a huge gamer or anything, so I might just be a wuss, but this game is freaking terrifying!
    I keep peaking around corners scared I'm gonna get shot at or crushed. Everytime GLaDoS talks I jump out of my skin. Playing at one in the morning does not help much either.

    I want to try and make a model of Ichigo on Blender, but honestly, that sounds like a lot of work.

    Hey people!
    I haven't been on here in like, forever. Main reason being classes. College students! Tell me your secrets of maintaining any semblance of time and sanity!!!!!!
     
    Seriously though, I'm doing like, a hundred calculus problems a day. For a class that meets twice a week. I'm tired of it.
     
    But yeah, I didn't find the computer to rant, just to say that I am, in fact, not dead yet. Just looking forward to spring break.
