whoops, typo. but regardless, I know (or at least, am pretty sure) he doesn't hate me. we're actually (or at least, I think we are) very good friends. but this kind of stuff is absolutely ridiculous and it's been going on far too long and i've tried for years to do the classy thing and only talk about it in private but that's been wholly ineffective so i'm not going to be quiet about it anymore. this stuff is wrong and i'm going to point it out from now on.
