  1. I may just have to make a couple characters to fill the interactivity void when Scythe Wielding Skieros goes off in search of buried treasure and inadvertently sabotages a ship or something.

    And yes. It's me.

And yes, Your assassins Kind of sucked. Considering you hired assassins that worked for me in the first place, I would've thought you'd caught your blunder when I left the note by your door. *Shrug* I suppose you win some and lose some.

    Now off to make profiles for real. Maybe. After I make a proper MoC of Skieros so I don't have to write a description of him ;_;

  2. *insert that moment when in a fit of pure awesomesauce I flood OnuKoro and Aki's ship with the aforementioned awesomesauce just cause I can and that's the kind of stunt I'd pull cause Mangai you should know better than to recruit me at all by now :P*

    Yeah. something Like that.

Either that or I just fall off the boat/down a long dark chasm and am never heard from again until I wash up on the coast of Mata Nui and am taken care of by the animals and trees until I am strong enough to cast down the established order. Or am I just mixing up my movies now?

Also Now SpawnySpawn, I do recall a Spawn once Spawned the spawn of spawns to spawn some spawns for Spawny to spawn.

  3. That moment when you have to go through everyone's display name history just to remember them.

It's a pain, it really is.

SO Red Star eh? Could be interesting... I'll whip up a profile for Skieros sometime today and get around to posting :P

  4. ...

I FEEL SO LOVED YET CONFUSED.

And Oh hey it is Christmas in July. whaddaya know.

In that case, anyone know a good spot for an old vet who hasn't done enough writing or RPing over the past few years to even remotely deserve recognition to jump in to? :P

  5. Oh dear.... Thiiiiis was a bad idea. A really bad Idea.

So I'm kind of scared cause that's just how I am, I've been "recruited out of retirement."

Or at least that's what It feels like. Anyone up for a really brief point-form type deal of major events that happened in the last... month or so? I don't really need detail just kind of the status of things as a whole before I decide what kind of characters I feel like bringing in :P

If this seems noobish I'm totes sorry but I may as well be considering I really haven't been on the site in a good year if not more. And knowing me I'll disappear off the face of the earth in some tragic cake/ice-cream related incident so I may as well enjoy this while I can.

  6. I swear, I havn't been on the forums for months except to briefly catch up with people like Becca and...

... Pretty much just Becca actually. @.@

Anyways, this kinda drew me in cause I don't think I was around for the last one, and then I read Emzee's post.

I swear, just the Miracle Cactus reference alone was enough to make me put this in my favourite's bar, I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time.

Now I'm just sad I never got to experience Shizo Kaita's... existence.ANYWAYS, Keep the references coming and I'll make sure I laugh at most of them. Some of them... the funny ones. I'm kind of scared cause I'm thinking I need to RP for a bit again...

This is all your guys' fault. I hope you're happy >:L

  7. While I'm not going to argue the validity of graphs, especially when the data is quite clear, I would like to point out one simple fact you've clearly missed.Hero Factory's been out for about two years, give or take a bit. Bionicle was out for Ten.Which do you think would have more Google Searches?Data is Data, but i don't think a Google Search is a proper variable to measure - especially when trying to decide what's been more productive, and successful. Just because Someone Googles something more than another, relates nothing to sales data. Success is determined by sales data. Not a google Search.Again though, I don't doubt that Bionicle's been google searched much more often, but that means literally nothing in the business world.

  8. I would just like to interject and say that TTV is, essentially, a privately owned podcast. WE get to decide what we air, edit out, and what we talk about. So before you start calling a descision "shameful" Let me just say that I know for a fact had it been covered in depth it would not have been a pretty coverage for the comic, for the same reasons as it WASN"T covered - Covering a "Joke" entry that has a fair amount of dislike on the podcast would've been a worse descision than NOT covering it.While not covering it at all might make us look bad, I assure you it would've looked far, far worse had we covered it.And that's a fact.I would also like to say that Everyone has their own opinions on what is and isn't good material. I, honestly, do not see Zakitano's comic as anything good. Maybe i just can't recognise the irony, maybe the humor escapes me, but I honestly look at that and see a bunch of poorly drawn MS paint pics entered into a contest. And that's why I don't agree that it deserves second place. However, there were obviously enough people who thought it did to give it second, and thus while myself, Balom, Venom, and others can dislike it all we want, we still have to face the facts. That does NOT, however, mean we cannot express our distaste, no more than it would stop you.

  9. I'm not a comic maker, but shoot me now if #2 wasn't a joke entry. There's no way that was a serious entry - and while I honestly don't care what wins or loses it does make me cringe the sheer amount of support it got, no offence to the creator.Contests are supposed to be a test of skill and creativity, a way to show off your skills to the general population of BZP... it makes me sad to see a joke entry, much less one in second place. However, I digress, congratulations to the Winners!

  10. Holy...*clears throat*Holy Mother of Duck. That was some seriously awesome stuff there, and I mean that in the most literal way possible. I mean, of course, having people die and the like isn't awesome, but the writing itself was pretty awesome. I'm lookin forward to moar :DAnd I'm aware you asked for a review. You're now aware that I don't give them :P

  11. If the Armor additions are things like "Carry one additional Clip" or "reload faster" than I don't see it as a problem. If it starts to become a "Have Overshields upon spawn and through the game" type thing then I have a problem with it.Then again i've never been as into the competitive aspects of the game as You have UK so oh well... :/

  12. Shadomedy Chapter 2...Hmmm.....Well it's better than everything else I see you write ;PPretty good, you must post up chapter 3... right after this post.Cause it's why I'm posting.Cause i'm cool. And this is a professional review.

  13. Drop rates were way higher in the Demo - they were only giving us what we knew from the other games, and the classes that were shown. We had maybe twenty guns before - now we have fifty, and their respective mods, and the like.

  14. No, they didn't change it. N7s are Ultra Rare.Any item can be found in any pack, but some pack types guarantee at least 1 item of a specific rarity.

i don't think you can get any item out of any pack, only the guaranteed rarity level item and anything below that and one rarity level above the guaranteed one.
Nope, you can get anything. Better crates only guarantee at least 1 item of a specific rarity and higher chances for even better items. Straight from the Official FAQ:

There are common, uncommon, rare and ultra-rare items - items that are rare and/or powerful are differentiated visually when they are obtained upon opening a pack. The items included in each pack are selected at random. Higher value packs have a higher probability of selecting the most valuable items.

    From the Wikia:
    • [*]Recruit Pack: A great way to upgrade and unlock your basic weapons, mods and characters. Includes 5 random items or characters, with a small chance for an Uncommon.[*]Veteran Pack: Advanced hardware and training for experienced operatives. Includes 5 random items or characters, with at least 1 Uncommon or better.[*]Specter Pack: The best equipment for the galaxy's best operatives. Includes 5 random items or characters, with at least 1 Rare or better.

I don't know about you, but that tells me that you're not getting anything better than an Uncommon weapon with a Recruit Pack. And so far that's been correct, cause I never have. Going off of the base descriptions for each pack tells me that you only have a chance at anything better than Uncommon in a Veteran or Specter Pack - Recruit Packs are going to net you virtually the same base weapons every time.

  15. Username: Kini HawkeyeName: KiharuFaction: KNPDSpecies: Keryan Toa. Keryans are unique in that they exhibit control over two elements, a main one which they control as powerfully as any other Toa, and a second that develops in response to the personality of the Keryan as they grow older.Gender: FemaleDescription: AppearanceKiharu is, at her base, a realist, though her extreme views on life and reality often force people to view her as a pessimist. Circumstances in her previous life led her to flee Kerya-Nui, the island of her birth, and wander the world. Eventually hearing about the Night Run, and now the Day Run, she joined the protective force of Kai-Nam, forcing herself to be almost blissfully ignorant of the corruption in the upper ranks.Equipment: Ornate Naginata imbued with the “Spirit of Ice,” As according to Keryan Lore one weapon exists for each element that embodies that element itself. The weapon is made up of near diamond strength Ice, and constantly gives off an aura of cold that translates into a thick fog that falls off the blade of the weapon itself. For longer range, Kiharu employs a variety of throwing knives.Mask: Kanohi Shelek, Mask of Silence, in the shape of a Kaukau.Powers: Kiharu has an excellent grasp of her elemental power of Ice due to circumstances on her home island. While only slightly more adept than the average Toa in her control over elemental powers, she has a flashy style to their use that, while most would describe it as useless, actually makes her attacks more effective by confusing her enemies with mirror traps, shields, and sudden blizzards. This aspect of her elemental control is further aided by her grasp of the Element of Air. Due to her Keryan heritage, she developed control over Air at a young age and has been able to refine that control into a powerful elemental substitute. While not as powerful as a Toa of Air, it requires less energy and concentration for Kiharu to use it in minimal amounts. Heavier blows and more advanced attacks and usages are nearly impossible for her, however, without extreme concentration.Biography: Kiharu was born and raised on an Island called Kerya-Nui, an unmarked island continent in the waters between Metru-Nui and the Southern Continent. Her family, once rulers of the Island, were betrayed by their most trusted advisor, Who turned out to be an agent of The Ring. Kerya-Nui was stricken from all maps and, over the years, was forever lost. Kiharu wondered the mountains of her home for many years, becoming a complete outcast. While things changed on the island around her, she fostered her anger and prepared for her revenge. Eventually, a small resistance formed on Kerya-Nui, and Kiharu became a figurehead for a rebellion that was doomed to fail. During what would become the first and final battle for Kerya, Kiharu disappeared, her guilty conscious following her across the seas to the south. Eventually she learned of the Day Run and Kai-Nam, travelling towards the Island while fighting off the ghosts of her past. Eventually arriving on the Island, she decided to face up to her past and right the wrongs she committed by leaving her people, and joined the Police Force.Because of her past, and attempts to redeem herself, she’s forced herself to ignore the corruption that’s readily apparent in the higher ranks, and focus only on helping those she can. Her skills as a fighter make her invaluable, as years alone in the mountains honed her body and mind to work fast and move fast. She hopes, one day, to return to her homeland, or what’s left of it, and rebuild. *Kiharu Pre-Approved by Par-u-guy =P

  16. I havn't actually played recently but, to my anger, a friend of mine earned the Sabre Assault Rifle on his first Spectre Pack. You have no idea how how annoyed it makes me that my favourite AR is in someone else's hands.

  17. I'm not talking about Freezing, that I can live with - everything freezes at some point or another and it has nothing to do with the game. The glitches i'm referring to are present specifically within the Virtual Reality of the Deckers - during the boss battle he sometime's doesn't reappear after his first disappearance, making the battle unwinnable.

  18. You would say that Spawn XDWell it's true, but I'm dead serious - Lupe and Social Rap in general just appeal to me on a way higher level than Gangster Rap. Words I Never Said, Break the Chain, and Shining Down are probably some of my favourite songs of all time - and i didn't even like rap until i heard them.

  19. Saints Row the Third was an extremely funny experience, but not one that I can go back to all the time. And I disagree with your vehicle handling comments - GTA has supremely better vehicle mechanics... perhaps it's just my experience with all manner of racing games and vehicles in pretty much every game I play, but while I find Saints Rows cars to be easy to drive, GTA cars are much more rewarding to drive, sheerly because of the skill required. That and Helicopters. Helicopter battles in GTA are so much fun if you're skilled.Still though, Saints was quite the funny game. My step-brother's the one who got it, I had no interest but i have to admit that I did end up finishing the game before he did, and asides from a few (albiet Game-Killing) Glitches it was quite good. The only gripe I have with it is that you don't feel like you're fighting anything - You have the world at your fingertips, and it makes combat less rewarding.Multiplayer is something I havn't tried as I don't own an Online Pass for the 360, so I can't comment there. but just from my single player experience I have a feeling it wouldn't shape up to the same level GTA does for me. GTA's kept me up till five or six in the morning... sometimes even all night while playing with friends because of the sheer amount of hilarious things you can do. Add to that the fact that one of you is an insanely skilled driver, and the other is an insanely skilled Pilot, and the laughs can last forever. I just can't see that happening in Saints, probably because of the sheer comedy of the game. While I like my fun, I also like a little dose or two of seriousness in a game, and Saints really doesn't deliver that for me..........And that was way longer than I thought it would be.-Hawkeye

  20. Bought Lupe Fiasco's The Cool with money left over from my birthday, as well as Tinie Tempahs "Disc-Overy" and havn't been disappointed. Kanye has some really great tunes in My Beaufitul Dark Twisted Fantasy, and it was one of my favourite albums to date, but something about Lupe's music just blows Kanye and everyone else out of the water for me. That, and as far as Tempah goes, "Wonderman" Is an incredibly silly song, and that's what makes it work... it's addictive O.OAs far as other rap goes i pretty much ignore it... I have music from literally every genre, but Rap's one of my least favourite, or at the very least, "Gangster Rap." It just doesn't appeal to me... call me crazy.

  21. Bioware devs have said that the Reason commendation packs aren't being released right now is because there was a bug that some people exploited allowing them to get two or more packs. They've also said that the packs will be re-released within the week and will have a week of time before they expire.
