  1. IC Garth - Ta-Wahi - Fighting Slicax: Garth stopped as the being leaped in front of him, holding up his hands as he backed slowly away from him. "I don't know why you're after me, please, just leave me alone," he said, looking around frantically for a way out, or a... solution. There was a large wooden crate suspended above Slicax, one that was filled with what appeared to be metal bars. Garth tried not to look at it, and instead looked around to find anything he could use to cut the ropes holding it up one by one. Just his luck, the ground was covered in large pieces of metal shrapnel, from what, he didn't care. He picked one up, and flung it at a rope, throwing it in a way that made it look like he had tried to hit Slicax, but had failed miserably. The metal cut the rope nicely, and the crate was suspended by only four ropes now. He had to cut them off one at a time, in a specific order, else the crate would swing into a hut, and not into Slicax. -Garth

  2. IC Garth/Klastio - Ta-Wahi - FIghting: Garth had no weapons on him, and his only hope had just been shot off into a group of other people. He had no idea who this being was, but he could tell that he wanted a lot of people dead. "What is it you want?" Garth shouted at the being, projecting his voice over the sounds of the battle. Meanwhile, Klastio drew his sword, and leaped into the air, sending squads of flying Gukkos out of control with his power over wind. -Klastio

  3. OOC: I wouldn't brutally murder NPC Matoran, Tahu. The last time I did that, I had my character killed off in a snap. IC Klastio - A Hospital - Talking: "So... what do we do now? Should we keep Garth in this hospital for now, while we go to deal with Vaarn and Zaltroth?" he asked, taking on a less impatient tone, and a more serious one. -Klastio

  4. IC Klastio - A hospital - Talking: Klastio set Garth down on a medical bed, allowing a few doctors to look at the wounded Matoran. Klastio then walked over to Tahuva and his alleged brother, hearing something about a Kualsi and Xa-Koro. "What's this about Xa-Koro?" he asked impatiently, recalling the Koro, and its people. Klastio was curious, what was Tahuva talking about? Where had he come from before here?-Klastio

  5. IC Ghlist - The Sickle Basement - Escaping: While the others were distracted, Ghlist kicked Tahuva's legs out from under him, repelling himself up and past the others, who were stunned from the sudden appearance of the worm. He exited the basement, shutting the door behind him; he turned and held it shut with telekinesis as he spoke to the group inside. "You have no need for me, so now I leave. I will not tell you anything of my master, only that he will be ready for you when you come to face him," he said, releasing the door and running up the stairs, exiting the Inn and vanishing into the shadows. --IC Klastio/Garth - The Sickle - Talking: Klastio checked Garth's vitals, and he was living, also, it seemed that he was coming 'round, as his eyes slowly began to open. "Set him down on the bed," Klastio said, and Tahuva did so, allowing their Matoran friend to sit up straight for himself. "Wha... what happened?" Garth asked, putting a hand on his head, as it was apparently bandaged. "Why is half my head bandaged!?" he said, feeling his entire body to make sure everything was in place, which, luckily, it was. "You got kidnapped, Garth. Kidnapped by a henchman of the crime lord Vaarn, and brought here for unknown reasons. I don't know how you got that wound on your head, but you'll be alright once we get you out of here," Klastio said, holding out his hand to the Matoran. "Who... who are you people? Where's my father?" he asked, staring confusedly at the group of people who stood around him. OOC: Surprise. -Garth

  6. IC Ghlist - The Sickle Basement - Surrendering:Ghlist knew when he was defeated, he was surrounded by enemies, pinned down on the ground, there was no way out except death. The being finally spoke, "I know when I am defeated. I surrender," he said, dropping his weapons, and relaxing. His voice was young, and old at the same time, wizened by all of the things he had seen in his life."Your friend is over there, unconscious. Unbind him and leave this place, Vaarn already knows you are here," he said to the beings, watching them begin to hurry about to free their friend, and leave. -Ghlist

  7. IC Ghlist - The Sickle Basement - Fighting: He endured the pain of the fire, just trying to stay on his feet; and then he took two bullets to his arm, and thankfully, they were only lodged in his armor, and had not penetrated deeper. As Tahuva ran in to punch him, he knocked his arm upward, and kicked him in the gut, stunning him for a moment so he could turn to deal with Dervian. He focused on Dervian, and shoved him backward with a good telekinetic push. He ran, leaping over Tahuva and landing in front of Kahua, who he shoved aside, running toward the exit. -Ghlist

  8. IC Oura - City of Fire - Wandering: Oura entered the city of fire, welcoming the rise in temperature like an old friend. He was a Matoran of plasma, after all, heat was his way, and it was nice to been in it again. Wandering the cities got tiresome, and with nothing interesting to do, Oura was normally left to find a place to sit, and just watch everyone who walked by.OOC: Anyone in the city of fire up for interaction?-Oura

  9. IC: Shohu fell, but Tahuva stood.Dervian slammed into the wall on the other side of the room. "OW!"Tahuva was about to attack, but he found Klastio's rear on his face. "KARZ!" He fell over, then stood again. "Stand your ground!"Dervian and Shohu got up again. "Ready for round 2!""As far as I'm concerned, round one hasn't started yet.""He has the ability to repel people. I need someone to distract him...I have a plan." He whispered to Dervian, Shohu, and Kahua. They charged at Ghlist, except for Tahuva. Kahua's Kakama let him get there first.Tahuva used his Garai, keeping Ghlist and Kahua in position and preventing Ghlist's telekinesis from moving Kahua away. "ATTACK!"Kahua formed an Iron Sand sword and started slashing Ghlist, giving Dervian and Shohu a good enough distraction to get there.Tahuva used his Garai on Dervian and Shohu as well, so that they could freely attack Ghlist without fear of being repelled. And attack Ghlist they all did, giving Tahuva time to get there in the middle of the distraction and swing his axe down on Ghlist's head.

IC Ghlist - The Sickle Basement - Fighting: Ghlist realized that one of them had a Garai, and judging from the movement of the large red Toa, Ghlist could safely assume he was causing these problems. Ghlist blocked Kahua's attacks with his own axes, locking the sword in their blades, and ripped the sword from his opponent's hands, sending it into the wall behind him. Ghlist continued to block the oncoming attacks from his opponents, while trying to move them with telekinesis. Though he did not understand one thing... if they could move freely, then how could he not affect them with his abilities? They would have to be stationary to avoid being moved by him. Tahuva moved in to slash at his skull, and Ghlist was just barely able to avoid the attack, but his face was still sliced by the weapon. Ghlist then counter attacked Tahuva, shoving his weapon out of the way and getting his axe onto his mask, ripping it off and stopping the gravity effects. Ghlist brought his hands together, sending a powerful shock wave of force out, pushing his enemies back long enough for a few moments of recovery. -Ghlist
  10. IC Kylus - Information District - Roaming: Kylus was without anything to do, he was somewhat bored, but not to the point where he needed to make excitement to cure it. Perhaps he would find something to do in his roaming... IC Fulok - Science District - Doing Nothing in particular:Fulok once again patrolled the science district, nothing to do, nowhere to go; he wasn't getting any messages from Torch, or the others, so he assumed everything was fine at the moment. With a sigh, he continued his walking, paying little attention to the world around him, and what was going on.OOC: A pointless post.-Fulok

  11. IC Oura - Peace of Kaccio - Wandering: The Matoran of plasma wandered the city of ice, keeping vigilant, and staying silent in his wandering. Mostly, he kept other people out of trouble, spending his time saving people here and there. Now, normally, Skarloth would make a few NPCs for him to deal with to show off his true power and braveness, but this time, he decided not to. Instead, he would have him traveling, merely watching."Quiet... the sign of peace. Or lack thereof, in some cases..." he told himself, watching people as they passed him by on the street. It seemed this city was quiet, and.. peaceful, hence the name. Perhaps another city would be more active... the City of Fire was the next nearest one, and there always seemed to be something going down over there. So, being the adventure seeker that he was, he decided to make his way toward the fire city.-Oura

  12. OOC: Ezio? :P IC Ghlist/Klastio - The Sickle Basement - Fighting: Ghlist used his powers to push the fire aside, and in turn deflected the air blast Dervian sent at him. He then sent a powerful telekinetic blast at Tahuva and Shohu, either knocking them over or stalling them for a moment. He focused or Dervian next, and shoved him backward, out of the basement.Klastio flew to the top of the basement, and sent a blast of hurricane force winds down at his enemy. Ghlist was shoved down by the blast, but rolled onto his back quickly, and grabbed Klastio out of the air, throwing him into Tahuva and Shohu before they could get to him. He then stood up, waiting for his opponents to attack again.-Ghlist

  13. I can't think straight... I don't feel like role playing anymore. Or writing in any way, really. It's like I've been zombified, and I don't know how to snap out of it. I'm gonna take a break from all this...You'll all hear from me when you hear from me.-Skar

  14. ... *sigh*Every day I come back to this, there are four new pages.I just don't know what to do anymore. LL, to be honest with you, I was never into this RPG when you first posted it way back when. I shouldn't have taken up duty as co-GM here in the first place.So... I resign. Give my place to someone else.-Skar

  15. IC: Shohu forged metal wings. Six in all, and attached them to a backplate. He also added tubes made of Toa Tool metal behind the wings on the backplate. "Tahuva, focus your elemental power through these and you can fly. Not done yet though."Whatever Shohu was making, it was quite impressive. But... "Thanks. But we need to find out who's in there. Does anyone here have an Arthron? He looked the group over. "Karz." He began to think of a new plan. "I'm going to bash the door open, then use a wall of flame to stop anyone from coming out. That way we can find out who's inside. When we see enemies, Dervian will throw wind shuriken at them."Dervian nodded."And I'll magnetically repel any pieces of metal thrown or fired at us.""A mask of shielding would be useful right now...but since we don't have one this plan will have to do."Shohu put the items in Kahua's can. When the final battle with Vaarn came, Tahuva could use it all. "All right, once we finish this guy off I can finish your present."Tahuva pulled out his sword and axe, then bashed the door down. A wall of flame appeared in front of the door. "DERVIAN BE READY!"Dervian formed a wind shuriken. "THERE'S A GUARD!" He threw it in at the lone guard, through the wall of flame, creating a fire shuriken. It flew straight at the guard, intended to knock the living Karz out of him.OOC: Skar, that's the guy who was meditating or whatever.

IC Ghlist - The Sickle Basement - Fighting: The bone white being stood up, and dodged the shuriken, picking up a metal shard from the ground and sending it flying through the wall of fire at Dervian. He then unlimbered his weapons, preparing for the battle. OOC: I believe his powers are telekinesis... unless I changed them for some reason. -Ghlist
  16. IC: On three, the Toa Xanthium attacked. Tahuva took on two guards while the rest took on one. "YAAAH!" He swung his sword and axed the guard in the face, but another fired strange Zamors at him. He dodged, but was slashed at. Blocking with his axe, he stabbed the guard in the stomach. He was about to knock the guard out when he was tackled from behind. "Junkyard KARZ!" He flipped the guard over and shot him in the face with a Zamor, then used his bladed knuckles to knock them both out. "How's it going for the rest of--"Dervian was on the ground, hands tied, with a Zamor Pistol at the back of his head. Kahua was already unconscious.Shohu pushed a guard away, but was kicked down. "Get off me!"Tahuva fired on the guards, cut Dervian's binds, and the attack resumed. Tahuva slashed the leg of the guard fighting Kahua, then punched his jaw OFF with flaming bladed knuckles. "HAAAAAAAA!" He kicked a guard, distracting him, then Dervian finished him off with a wind sphere attack.Shohu was disarmed. "No...no.." He backed up...and picked up Kahua's can. The guard soon found himself on the ground with a Toa of Iron slamming a can on his head. "Easily fixed."Kahua woke up. Six guards down, four still fighting with Solaris, Mip, The Rel, and Klastio.

IC Klastio - The Sickle - Fighting: Three now, as Klastio downed one with his blade. The innocent people in the Inn had long since left, for fear of being harmed or even killed by the people participating in the fight. The three guards were outnumbered, and losing, if they didn't give up and hightail it out of there, they were all as good as dead. Meanwhile, the mysterious being in the basement sat in the middle of the miniature dungeon, legs folded, and arms spread out. He was meditating, whoever he was. His Matoran captive laid silent nearby, chained to the ground... he knew they had come for the Matoran, and he would make sure they would leave, by either dying, or running like the cowards they all were. -(Profile and name coming soon)
  17. IC Klastio - The Sickle - Talking: "Gah, I meant take out everyone who looks like a guard, not the opposite," Klastio said, facepalming. "Don't do anything until the guards stop staring at us, once they're a little less suspicious of us, we strike," he said to the group. -Klastio

  18. IC NPC guards: The door opened slightly, though it was an Inn, and the group could have walked in freely. "What do you want?" the being asked, though his body was hidden from view.IC Klastio - The Sickle - Talking: "We would like to rent a room for the day," he said, waiting for whoever was there to respond. After a few moments of silence, and what sounded like whispering, the door opened further, but still no being greeted them visually. "Come in," the being said, it was obvious that whoever it was was a Skakdi, because of their rough tone of voice.Klastio and the others entered the dim Inn, and Klastio led them all over to a table in the corner. Once they were all seated, Klastio made sure that nobody was listening to them, and he began to speak in a hushed tone. "On my mark, we draw our weapons, and take this Inn by surprise. Though, I am fairly certain the guards here already know why we've come, and I'm sure they're ready for some sort of attack. Don't bother playing with tactics here, just take out everyone you see who looks like a guard, and we'll storm the basement for Garth, alright?" the Toa of air said.EDIT: I meant 'looks', not doesn't look. XD-Klastio

  19. OOC: Nothing. XD This is just a hiding spot for the moment so no assassins kill us. :P IC Klastio - An Inn - Talking: "This isn't the Sickle, guys, we just had to hide here so no assassins killed us like they killed that Matoran," he said, taking a seat at a nearby table. "Let's figure out what we're doing here before we go running into a heavily guarded Inn," he said, reminding them that the Sickle was guarded. -Klastio

  20. For nine hundred and a half words, this was a wonderful story.Though, it seems like there could have been more of a background to this story, and the conversation between the family must have lasted for no longer than three minutes at max. But, you conveyed the feeling of the setting, and visual image, and the emotions that ran rampant through the characters flawlessly, and I applaud you for that. 8/10, I say.-Skar

  21. IC Klastio - Ko-Koro - Talking: "We can't go straight to Vaarn, not after that fight... one of his goons probably saw us, and reported to his master that we got tangled up in a fight some some people. If Vaarn is as smart as I think he is, then he will not see us," he said, looking around the Koro. "I wish Sentarn was here, he was probably the most knowledgeable about Vaarn's goons, and we don't know a thing about them, or their names, or even what they look like, for Mata Nui's sake," Klastio said, slowly growing frustrated. Klastio wasn't sure about what Vaarn was going to do about the recent fight, was he going to pull his men back and have them hide, or was he going to have them looking for Tahuva and the others? Then, Klastio saw someone who he thought he would never see outside of Vaarn's mansion. The Matoran slave who answered Vaarn's door. The Matoran was currently browsing a small shop, just looking at what he could buy, and he never noticed as the group of people closed in around him, blocking his exits."Hi there," Klastio said, prompting the Matoran to jump in fear, and turn around quickly. "Wha-What are you all doing here? The guards will see you, and you'll be arrested," the Matoran stuttered. Klastio shook his head, "We just want to talk. Tell us, I'm sure it won't be of any bother, but did any of Vaarn's goons abduct a Matoran of stone from Ta-Koro?" he asked, watching the Matoran begin to speak. "Vaarn doesn't have any 'goons', he's a man of business, not crime-""Don't even think of lying to us, we know Vaarn is a veteran criminal, even if his 'public reputation' says otherwise. And we know his men kidnapped Garth, each of them carry a weapon with the letter V engraved into its hilt, and we found a serrated ice blade at the scene of the kidnapping," he said. The Matoran was caught, here he was, surrounded by a group of beings that could kill him in a heartbeat, and he had tried to lie his way out. He knew they understood Vaarn's true profession, they had indisputable evidence, and all they needed was a warrant from the guards (if those even existed on Mata Nui), and Vaarn would be caught."Alright, I'll tell you what I know about your friend, just let me go in peace, and I'll even tell you how to get to Vaarn," he said, deciding to abandon Vaarn and run for... wherever his goons weren't.Klastio smiled, that was more like it. "Alright, spit it out already, we've been waiting for too long now," the impatient Toa of air said. "Vaarn has told me that your friend is being kept in the basement of an Inn here in Ko-Koro, the Sickle or something like that. It's heavily guarded, and the basement if protected by a lone white guard, who is Vaarn's strongest man, I've heard... listen, I don't know what they want with your friend, Vaarn kept going on about incredible wealth, and power, but he never told me how he was going to get all of that out of your brown friend. "And as for how to get to Vaar himself, there's a basement in the house behind it, with a tunnel that leads to the basement in Vaarn's mansion... that's also guarded, and your best option is to go at day, when the sun is highest in the sky... that's when they take a short five minute break, and change shifts. Please, if Vaarn finds out that I-"A metal dart was suddenly lodged in the Matoran's throat, and he fell dead, never to stand again.Klastio unsheathed his sword, and turned to look at who had killed the Matoran; but the only thing he ever saw was a hooded figure disappear behind the rooftops... "I'm willing to bet that was one of Vaarn's men... let's go, we don't want to end up like this guy," he said, crouching to close the Matoran's eyes. He stood, and walked into the closest Inn, beckoning for the others to follow. OOC: Okay, now we just need to find the Inn the Matoran mentioned, kill the guards and the white being in there, and free Garth. Then, after that, we can head for Vaarn's mansion and finish (or perhaps begin) the fight with him. -Klastio

  22. IC Kylus - Housing District - Eating: A table for three sat in the middle of room, with two open chairs, and in the third sat a being. The being was a Vortixx, but he did not appear to be one. As Vortixx went, he was short, and rather muscular to be one; he wore a simple lightly armored cloak, with his hood up and his face hidden from the open air. If one were to walk in on him, they might not even notice his presence at first, since the room was so dark, and he blended in as if he wore camouflage armor. His name was Kylus, and he spent his days watching over the city, doing good where he saw it was needed, being the judge of life and of death. He finished his meal, and stood up from the table, walking through his house and into another, much brighter room. In the room stood a suit of armor, pitch black in color, with a rack of weapons that stood nearby it. The Vortixx walked over to the weapons rack, and studied it; there were several types of weapons that adorned the rack, ranging from swords, short knives, and a decent amount of fire arms were spaced around amongst the other weapons. Two sheathed swords sat in the middle of the rack, his two most commonly used melee weapons. He carried them on his person whenever he went out, and they had not yet failed him. He picked them up, and strapped them to his waist around his armored cloak, unsheathing the two and simply feeling them in his grip, assuring himself that nothing had changed since he had last used them. He sheathed the blades, and left the room, locking it and making his way outside of his house. Normally, he would wear his true armor when going out and about, but he had no plans today. Then again... his days were not pre-planned, he protected those who were in danger, and life threatening situations never took a day off. Hopefully, danger would make an exception today. -Kylus
