  1. Thanks, it took two hours to work out, so I'm glad it worked. As soon as I read that I thought of an alternative; I'll work on that now. Thank you!
  2. Yeah, I feel a little overshadowed by all these BBC entries, but here's my Moc anyway! http://www.brickshel...ia/dsc00187.jpg -Fronthttp://www.brickshel...ia/dsc00188.jpg -Sidehttp://www.brickshel...ia/dsc00189.jpg -Backhttp://www.brickshel...ia/dsc00191.jpg -Head Detailhttp://www.brickshel...ia/dsc00198.jpg -Posehttp://www.brickshel...ia/dsc00199.jpg -Another PoseHalia is a Toa of Water who was recently created to oversee and protect a small inhabited island. One matoran framed her for the death of a beloved villager and as the news spread, she knew she couldn't remain in the open. With a new mask and new armor, Hahlia contacts the Order of Mata Nui and joins an elite team of Toa, led by Zedra of Air. She promises to find out who framed her and uncover the reason for the matoran's death, but right now she is glad to safely continue her destiny.Halia is the most difficult MOC I have ever created. Without any real experience with custom torsos, I put my first female body together. I really like how she turned out, despite the lack of a more suitable mask. What do you think? Comments and Criticism appreciated!Edit: Image thumbnailed due to file size. Please keep posted images in BBC to 100 kB.-Wind-
  3. I think the Hordika look pretty half- animalish.
  4. What I hate most about BZP is that I can't follow a topic without stumbling upon a group of people arguing about the dumbest thing. Once it was whether or not Raw-Jaw was more like a gorilla or an elephant. Who cares??
  5. Seems like fans aren't willing to cope with another Tahu. As for me, Furno is no doubt my favorite character in the HF tv series. I love his personality and how he handles situations-- it seems like every new mission presents a physical or emotional boundary he has to overcome. Lyichir, I completely agree with you. Both Furno and Rocka have proven to be extra-ordinary characters, and I think they're some of the strongest driving factors of HF. Here's to hoping that both of them pull it off in the Breakout movie.
  6. Maybe it'll be a Luke-Vader type fight in the end. :DNot sure where else this would go, but I'll say it here: yesterday, Walmart had the spinner packs Kruncha, Wyplash, Sensei Wu, and Lord Garmadon for $3.20 USD! Don't pass up this deal!
  7. I'd actually like to see sets similar to Gravity's signature-- I love the black armor with colored piping. Maybe trans-armor with black printing? That would be awesome. Here's a list of things I'd like in a set:-bicep and hamstring swivels-a well-armored back-right and left hand molds-a belt (minifig bar style)-ankle guards-"armored" and "de-armored" helmets-a jetpack-more detailed armorI am liking where HF sets are going, though. I prefer their style over Bionicle.
  8. Hero Factory, of course, but I love several System themes. Ninjago's probably at the top, followed by City, which greatly contributes to the diorama my brother and I are putting together.
  9. I love all of the 2001 masks. They were very tribal in design, and have a look that can't be compared with any modern mask. Go, Kakama!
  10. I'd wish for more brown Inika-style parts.
  11. I'd love to see every character in Star scale-- it was a great idea, but it just didn't fit with the current scale.
  12. Besides rahi, I loved the Barraki designs. Each one could be associated with a sea creature. Vamprah is also an amazing representation of a bat.
  13. I wish I got one when I had the chance, they were neat! It was the first time that Toa faced an intelligent enemy. Their design was so unique they really stood out from any other set. Maybe I can snag Vezok on eBay....
  14. I only have one Pahrak with a green Krana. I think it's the one that lets them burrow underground.
  15. TLG should definitely continue making vehicles for HF, even if they're mixed with the 2.0 system. I thought it was pretty cool that Furno had his own motorcycle. They could stick with motorcycles and cars to keep the price low.
  16. Thanks, everyone! And yes, the acrylic will scratch off-- I'm still trying to find a finish that will protect the paint.
  17. Sorry about misplacing the topic, I'll remember to stick these in General Art. Thanks! I was very glad that Surge came with the large armor-- overall, I think this series is bulkier than the 2/3.0's. Do you think gold would look better? That was his original color scheme. I favored asymmetry on this guy, plus I liked the name badge. Thank you! As he is, Surge wasn't a bad set; I got used to the excess of lime quickly. Thank you! I'll try to get some. Thanks! I've been waiting for armor in dark blue, red, etc. to come along. That was actually a mistake-- the varnish left streaks. As a bonus, here are some pictures of my modded Toxic Reapa. I gave him a painted Hero foot for back armor, and to me it looks pretty good. Once I get more Technic bits I plan on filling up that gappy torso.http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/SpiritOfTime/Bionicle/MOBCs/Repaints/zeal_015.jpg -Fronthttp://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/SpiritOfTime/Bionicle/MOBCs/Repaints/zeal_016.jpg -Backhttp://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/SpiritOfTime/Bionicle/MOBCs/Repaints/zeal_017.jpg -Close-Uphttp://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/SpiritOfTime/Bionicle/MOBCs/Repaints/zeal_018.jpg -Top
  18. Use your imagination! what if the colors are orange or grey or purple!LegoJang made a great Hero MOC with a purple and gold color scheme-- he used Rocka 4.0You could also buy Surge and make a blue-and-orange Hero.
  19. http://www.brickshel...al/zeal_001.jpg -Fronthttp://www.brickshel...al/zeal_003.jpg -Backhttp://www.brickshel...al/zeal_006.jpg -Chestplate Detailhttp://www.brickshel...al/zeal_007.jpg -SymbolCall it a Surge 4.0 repaint, but this is how I'd look as a hero. Very few of you would probably remember Eric Zeal from the mission logs on the HF website, but according to one of them Zeal was leader of Rho 3. Since we share the same first name, I decided to adopt the character.I did 4-5 layers of acrylic paint, then added a satin varnish. The chestplate's printing is so cool I decided to leave it untouched. My only complaints are that the varnish disrupted the smooth surface of the armor, and that Zeal's head is constantly taking paint off the shoulder pads. Other than that, I'm really happy with this MOC; I've never done a paint app of this scale before.http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=494362 -Gallery (when public)What to you guys think?
  20. The combiners do disappoint me. I really like the idea, and they looked so impressive in CGI, but in set-form they're full of gaps.
  21. The three were fighting Splitface's remaining halves!
  22. Glad to see they're applying the speaker motif onto Stringer's shoulder pads. I'll probably pick him up if he's a summer set.
  23. Nice! I agree, though, it's hard to read the small print. Are you working on a comedy?
