  1. Yup, so I've got a tortoise who lives in my backyard. He's lived there for around 2 and a half years, but he doesn't really have a name yet, besides "The Turtle" because turtle sounds better than tortoise. So, here he is.
  2. 1 out of 10 people actually know what they're talking about. And 9.9 out of 11 people are indifferent to this statistic. Then again, 2 out of 3 statistics are made up on the spot. So...wait...what?
  3. Well, I've never actually watched Heroes and am pretty new here, but this sounds really interesting so I'll join in. Name: Colin Hampton Power: He is capable of distorting matter. He can twist nearly anything into whatever he desires, and even cause things to vanish altogether. Whenever he uses this, a slight gold appears at the rim of his pupils. The full extent of his powers is unclear, however, due to lack of usage. Age: 15 Appearance: A scruffy-looking teenager with gray eyes and messy light brown hair. He looks young for his age. His clothes usually consist of a simple polo shirt, jeans, and black shoes. Traits: Very quiet and shy, but thoughtful meanwhile. He prefers to avoid any dangerous or frightening situation, and likes to be left alone. He has few friends, and a distaste for learning, along with limited knowledge of how to play the piano. He rarely uses his powers, due to fear and lack of necessity, and thus has very little control over it. History: He has led a fairly normal life so far. He has an older brother and sister, both at college. When he was younger, often he'd accidentally cause things around the house to disappear or damage them severely, but no one understood why this was happening. When he grew older, he decided to ignore his powers and never use them, so no one else, not even his parents, are aware of them. In recent years he has begun to completely seclude himself from other people, except for his family and small group of friends.
  4. Abridged, that is. But anyways, I saw it. That was one insane play. Some of my favorite parts would have to be: "Then Shakespeare invaded Poland." "I had a weird dream last night. We were in our first performance, and we were doing pretty well, but then we realized we hadn't read most of the plays we were performing...and the audience knew more about them then we did...so we were just making it up as we went along..." "Die, you incestuous, murderous, cross-dressing beast!"
  5. I dunno, it just seems he really doesn't do much, and I was never fond of all his singing.
  6. Old Tom Bombadil Is a merry fellow Bright blue his jacket is And his boots are yellow! Tom. Shut up. -Beorc But seriously, doesn't anyone else find Tom Bombadil incredibly irritating?
  7. I have a sudden urge to replay Tales of the Tohunga. But at the same time, I feel the need to keep with Scribblenauts. =/
  8. Wow, I actually killed Death and stole his scythe.
  9. I summoned a monkey but he stole my chainsaw. =(
  10. Woo hoo, I got it today. So far I've: Attacked a chihauhau with a coyote Summoned Leviathan and the Kraken to battle (Kraken won) Given a cow Mad Cow Disease Mind controlled Cthulhu and rode him Killed off everyone with Death Had Longcat defeat Rick Astley Discovered what happens when you type in "your mom" Battled my evil twin Set off several nukes, although killing myself in the process And I haven't even left the title screen yet.
  11. Now, this entry was originally going to have another point to it, but I forgot what that was. So good morning/whenever you're reading this, and just remember: He's always watching.
  12. Gandalf has about ten different great quotes all together in this chapter. Seriously. "So now, when its master was awake once more and sending out his dark thought from Mirkwood, the Ring abandoned Gollum. Only to be picked up by the most unlikely unperson imaginable: Bilbo from the Shire! Behind that there was something else at work, beyond any design of the Ring-maker. I can put it no plainer than by saying that Bilbo was meant to find the Ring, and not by its maker. In which case you also were meant to have it. And that may be an encouraging thought." Then, later on in the chapter: "It was Pity that stayed Bilbo's hand; Pity, and Mercy: not to strike without need. And he has been well rewarded, Frodo. Be sure that he took so little hurt from the evil, and escaped in the end, because he began his ownership of the Ring so. With Pity." "Many that live deserved death. And some that die deserve to live. Can you give it to them? Then do not be so eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends." Immediately followed by: "I have not much hope that Gollum can be cured before he dies, but there is a chance of it. And he is bound up with the fate of the Ring. My heart tells me that he has some part to play yet, for good or ill, before the end; and when that comes, the pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many - yours not least." "And now the decision lies with you. But I will always help you. I will help you bear this burden, as long as it is yours to bear. But we must do something, soon. The Enemy is moving." And, of course, "Hobbits really are amazing creatures, as I have said before. You can learn all that there is to know about their ways in a month, and yet after a hundred years they can still surprise you." Gandalf's the best.
  13. Well, I've decided to read the Lord of the Rings for the second time, so expect comments about it on occasion. The only other person in my family that's read it is my 19-year-old sister. Everyone else finds it too dull. =\
  14. I see a "release the penguins" and "remove cattle from stage" in there... Certainly sounds...interesting.
  15. I love Dilbert. I've got the calendar.
  16. I just hope the Laguz don't have Caineghis or Tibarn with them. =P

  17. Can anyone actually read this color font without higlighting it?
  18. 1. The other one 2. I knew it 3. Yellow and red 4. I dunno. I'm not a very decisive person. 5. Kay
  19. Woo hoo. So, uh...what should I do now?
  20. Do you have any idea who I am? I'd actually be surprised if you did.
