Hello to you all. If you remember me from a few years back. You'd probably know I started a project around the old BIONICLE TCG Quest for the Masks. You can read about my initial post here Well I can finally say that the project is now public and can be downloaded from the Steam Workshop here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2880123317 the game can also be played physically using the cards from the original tcg however due to the cards rarity its better to just proxy the neccesary cards. All assets that's in the mod plus printable draft packs for a real life cube can be found in our discord: https://discord.gg/DJhsDsfwsn So as for how to play this game: Draft is a different way to play TCG and it was first popularized by tcgs with larger followings like Magic The Gathering. In these tcgs you can draft either new packs or packs from a predetermined card pool called a CUBE. So this is what this project is about. It's about making it possible to draft with the QFTM cards and to build CUBES using these cards. Now you know what the project is about but you are probably wondering how you play draft? To draft Bionicle quest for the masks, gather 4-5 of your friends and shuffle the card pool by rarity and deck type each card goes to. Then follow the included pack structures in the rulebook(See mod or discord) and distribute all the packs equally among your friends. When everyone is ready each player opens a pack of the same type. This pack is now considered the first pack of the draft, from these packs each player picks one card from their pack and passes it to their right. Each player then picks a second card from the pack they just received and passes it again to the right. This manner of play continues until all cards in the first pack have been picked. Then you do the same thing for the second pack(which should be of the same pack type of the first pack) but this time each player passes to the left. This continues for the third pack but packs are past to the right again. You draft the other pack types the same way, just remember to switch rotation between packs. Now you know what the project is about and how to play, so I hope to see you in our discord and that you think it's interesting enough to try out. //TheVirre2000(Tarkur)

So I've recently started a new project involving Bionicle, as a sort of way to express my fandom. When I first into Bionicle about 10 years ago, I remember always wishing they had made films for each year, instead of only 2003-2005 and 2009. So, I have recently started my own non-official Bionicle 2001 film. I'm making it using animations and gameplay from the Mata Nui Online Game, cutscenes from the cancelled Bionicle game Legends of Mata Nui, 2001 commercials, the ending of the Game Boy Advance game Quest for the Toa, and some fan animations. I realize not all of this 100% canon - however, not all of the elements of the original 4 films were canon either. The point of the film is to tell the most complete version of the story of the 2001 story year as best it can - if that requires using some non-canon elements, so be it. But generally speaking, you should be able to watch it, and move on to the 2002 story year without missing a beat. There may be a project like this that exists already - even so, I was kind of hoping to take my own stab at the concept. I have run into a few problems, however, and I was wondering if you guys would be able to help out. 1. Does anyone know in which order each Toa awakened on the island of Mata Nui? 2. How much gameplay from the Mata Nui Online Game should I include? On the hand, including gameplay kind of disrupts the flow of the movie, and makes the whole thing almost seem like a game walkthrough. On the other, I DO want to tell the most complete 2001 story I can, and some of the animations from the game feel awkward and out of context without the gameplay. So I guess my 3 options would be: (A). No gameplay, (B). Only some gameplay, so no animation will feel out of context, and ©. Include as much gameplay as possible. Thanks! Your help is greatly appreciated. If I'm able to finish this one and it is well received, I may make more fro more story years. If not, then that's OK too.

Hello BZP'ers. Thanks for checking out my topic. I finally finished my project which has been underway for quite a while. I have been working on it off and on, but now episode 1 is complete. Right, so I saw some discussion of the Golden Kanohi over in the Nuva Symbol thread. Rather than continue it there, I figured it'd be better to make a dedicated topic for it, to avoid confusion ("Why is the title 'Nuva Symbols,' but they're talking about Golden Kanohi?") and to allow people who're more interested in Golden Kanohi than in Nuva Symbols to find this discussion more easily. To that end, discuss 2001's Golden Kanohi here. I'll start with some quotes from the other topic, as well as some of my own ideas: (Those were the two most noteworthy posts that I could see, but here's the topic in question if you think there's another post worth replying to.Now, as for my personal opinion? The Golden Kanohi gave two major advantages, versitality and the element of surprise. Katuko's post above covers both of these very well, so I don't think I need to go into those. The other advantage that comes to mind is accessibility - being able to access all of their Kanohi even if cut off from their Suva - though this is rare, and never actually came up on Mata Nui.Have at it!

**For pictures see the links at the bottom of this post**What I'm selling is one of the oldest and rarest of classic Bionicle collectibles: the original trading card game. I have a huge assortment (pictures linked to below) of almost 1000 cards. This assortment includes 3 rulebooks, 3 "Legend of Mata Nui" booklets, and 3 playing "boards" (they're plastic sheets, but they serve as playing boards. They are in excellent condition, as they were new when I bought them 3 years ago. In this collection you will find at least 30 cards per Toa (some of which are the characters themselves, some of which are masks, and some of which are Turaga), close to one hundred mission cards, and assorted Reward, Penalty, and Bonus cards. There are also several Great Mask Challenge cards as well. But perhaps the best part of this set is elements of the second and rarer release for the card game, Challenge of the Rahi. There are about 20 each of the Rahi Effect, Rahi Defend, and Rahi Challenge cards, several of which are holo / foil cards. Also, there are 8 Rahi cards featured the Rahi themselves; three of them are paired. ALL Rahi cards are foil.In all, this is a collection I was very proud of. I will be rather sad to part with it. But I really would like someone to purchase these. As of this moment, I am selling in three options:*Entire set (make an offer--please be reasonable, these were very expensive to collect)*100 card random grab bag w/ two guranteed foils (I'm looking for somewhere around $20-$30 each, but I won't promise to sell these unless I get a few buyers)*Individual cards (I'm reluctant to do this, as it is quite a hassle, but I know serious collectors won't want huge lots. As such, though, expect to pay around $5 a card)Post if you are interested and what you will offer. If I like your offer, I will follow up via e-mail.The gallery (when it's public; assume 2ish hours from when this was posted) is here.In the meantime, if the gallery is not yet public, you can look at the entire collection overview.
