Remember that entry about Bionicle not being dead that I wrote last month? I'm not surprised that I haven't posted another entry since then, but I am a little surprised no one else has either. Anyway, amateur pictures coming, because I honestly don't know why I have shaky hands whenever I try and take a picture. "The Legend Reborn" reference: Free The Band reference: The acknowledgements: I always wonder if I should share the above online, because part of me feels like it should be more personal or something, you know save somethings for yourself. On the other hand, I kind of do want the people who inspired and helped me to know how grateful I am, but how else are they going to know that unless I share this online. I don't know, I usually overthink...well, everything, but especially everything related to trying to make it as a writer, so maybe that's what I'm doing now. Okay, back to being the lurker/occasionally like stuff guy.

Quinglong One day I got two Ninjago spinners and tried putting one on top of the other. I liked the shape that was formed and it immediately reminded me of the body of an Asian dragon, so I ordered 28 more spinners and decided to build a green and gold dragon. For the eyes I used a special Dots round tile.... well, it's not even round, it's actually a glittered octagonal jem, a very cool piece. 26/07/23

Designed this mini-map of Mata Nui last week, and thought I'd show it off here: Built it using LDD and rendered it through BrickLink's Studio software.

We've been building the Toa, villains, and Rahi of the Biologic Chronicle for years. But now we've lost it all again. After an unfortunate end of the journey in 2010, a reboot last year, and it's end again this year, we've come a long way. Some may say there's no reason at all for the Bionicle line to not be selling to children in this day and age, but I disagree. I believe there's a very clear answer that would be easy for LEGO to whip up and make Bionicle a top dog in their repertoire! We've read and seen it countless times with movies/shows/books, and that's the world of Bionicle. What's truly special about Bionicle is mostly what's not built or in a set. I cannot fathom why this rich resource hasn't been tapped into for a LEGO building set. What I'm talking about, is that LEGO can release building sets for Matoran villages and ancient Matoran cities that have been corrupted by Makuta. (Not to mention the people that live there.) Imagine a child that's new to the Bionicle world, in a LEGO aisle, and knows nothing about the story behind it. You can say that all they have to do is read a book or watch one of the shows, but this is a child holding the hand of their parent/guardian walking down an aisle way that has no idea what a Bionicle is yet. They'll look at a Bionicle and think that it's cool! But at the end of the day, it's an action figure. Yes, an action figure without a build-able world around it. That's immediately a turn off for a bunch of kids. Instead, they'll look at something they know and love already, like a LEGO Star Wars set, or a Batman set. These things are familiar, because they'll most likely know these worlds already. Another big one is a normal LEGO set for making a building with a lot of average people going about their daily business. My point is, is that for the Bionicle line to be saved, it's necessary for the world of Bionicle to be a build-able set released by LEGO. Sets that will entrance children on the aisle way with their imagination. Sets that are littered with the normal people that live there, such as the Matoran. Some might make the argument that a building set wouldn't be Bionicle. You'd be partially right, as it's never been done for the line before, but here's a counter argument: Do you want Bionicle to survive? Also, it'd be pretty neat to finally be able to build the world. (Don't lie to yourself, you know you'd love to.) I'd love to submit this idea to LEGO Ideas, however, I'm not very good with LEGO building. It's required that you have a photograph of the set idea. If you're good at it, you like this idea, then please go for it. I'll be cheering for you. You may just save Bionicle. TL;DR: Making Matoran village/ancient city sets could possibly up sales for Bionicle. Tell me what you think in the comments below!

chron·ic adjective persisting for a long time or constantly recurring. Welcome to Chronic Records, a CYOA comic! As inferred by the abbreviation, a Choose Your Own Adventure comic runs on community input - you send in what you want to happen next! The comic is based on the MNOG storyline, more or less (creative liberties may apply). Please send in Action Commands prefaced by the character's name. For example: Tahu: Fight Bohrok. Action Commands can be sent in via PM or in a post. If in a post, please provide a legitimate post alongside it. EDIT: Due to issues I've seen, this is more of a suggestion than a rule. At least try to. If you can't, it's fine. c: -1/16/14 Cameos: Cameos are being handled differently this time around! Cameo characters will more likely just be seen in the background - they won't be integral to the story, most likely. And now... we begin. --- ... You have awoken in a strange new place - at least, it seems strange and new to you. You can't remember where you are, or who you are, for that matter. What will you do?

Greetings, lovers of Bionicle, and prepare to be amazed. Remember MNOLG? Well, who doesn't, it's friggin awesome. If so, you probably also remember these drums: They can be heard in the scene where the Ta-Koro Guard discovers Tahu and in the mini-games at Kini Nui. Recently I came across this drum sample by jobro called "Hunter" on freesound (all credit to jobro!). I think the resemblance is striking. I even put a filter on it to simulate the drums in MNOLG with it, and it totally worked. Is this a coincidence? idk My theory is that this is originally a traditional piece that both Justin Luchter and jobro happened to use, but it blows my mind anyway. Just what are those drums? Or maybe jobro simply played MNOLG and felt insired by it? PS. I made a filtered slowed-down version version of this, which perfectly captures that tohunga vibe. Feel free to pm if you want it. Remember to give jobro credit.

Happy Halloween! So I carved a pumpkin with an Akaku design and the word "BIONICLE" on top. Unlit 1 Unlit 2 BIO Up Close Idea Sketches Template Yeah, the lettering isn't really well centered. Still, better that a classic pumpkin face, yes? Be sure to comment and tell me what you think of it! Happy Halloween!
