Pastlahniul After building Oyonidae somehow I had a lot of these balljoint eyes from the Chinese New Year sets, so I decided to find a purpose for them as well. First I created a "circle" of eyes and tentacles, once completed I noticed that this circle perfectly fit one of the Star Wars planets, at that moment this creature became a living planet. Once the four large red tentacles are removed, it is even possible to close the planet again without any problem. 15/04/22

Pulpintrin A moc born by pure chance, one day I was thinking about how to make a vase using these 4 dark pink round panels, after putting them together the shape reminded me of the rounded head of an octopus, that's how Pulpintrin was born. There is actually one bionicle piece in this moc, I used the reddish brown tip of Vezon's spear to create the flying vessel. 16/09/23

Crimson King Choosing the right idea for the protagonist of the song was not easy, I wanted to create something unusual and terrifying. In the end I decided to build a "skeleton with organs" to create something creepy. In my mind, the dark red sections of the Crimson King (including the sword) are supposed to be sections of "petrified" blood. For the organs I used a variety of different colors and pieces: the stomach is a frog, the heart is a MiniDoll head, in the instestines there is a Classic Space air tank and for the brain I used dark pink Minifigures arms. For the throne I used a rather simple system build, it's shattered at the back to create the idea that someone (or something) hit the throne a long time ago to hit the one who was sitting there. 03/09/22

Lhultiren Moc built for a Great Beings collab, this creature is based on the Flatwoods monster. It's a very simple build, I used the curved red panel to create the classic Flatwoods monster head, apart from the axles and technic connectors it's completely built with only system pieces. For the yellowish robe I used the Vidiyo rubber handle piece. 01/04/22

Stygiomedusa Gigantea Built for the telephone game hosted by the Spare Parts community, it's my interpretation of a real Stygiomedusa Gigantea, a giant abyssal jellyfish. The moc I received from the previous builder was an astronaut with a rounded transparent dome as a helmet, I took the same piece and decided to create a kind of alien creature, a jellyfish was the first idea I thought of. For the eyes I used a pair of lime kraata, the droids' heads should represent coral on a stone. 04/08/23

Quinglong One day I got two Ninjago spinners and tried putting one on top of the other. I liked the shape that was formed and it immediately reminded me of the body of an Asian dragon, so I ordered 28 more spinners and decided to build a green and gold dragon. For the eyes I used a special Dots round tile.... well, it's not even round, it's actually a glittered octagonal jem, a very cool piece. 26/07/23

Anomalocaris Spectrum Built for the first round of Biocup 2023, the theme was Biomes, my subtheme was Saltwater. For the occasion I built an Anomalocaris, one of the very first predators on our planet. I decided to reimagine it as if it had never gone extinct and had become an abyssal giant, for this reason I used white and trans light blue pieces. I also added a couple of creatures such as the giant jellyfish on the left, some squid barraki on the bottom and used Malum's mask in reverse to create a kind of giant crab. 16/06/23

Harbinger of War Built for the preliminary round of Biocup 2023, theme was Villains. This moc is based on the mechanical horse seen in the animated short "Second Renaissance - Part 2" from the film Animatrix. For the horse's body I used Galidor's torso from the Ooni set. 29/05/23

The Court of the Crimson King This project came about by pure chance. While building, I usually listen to music or some podcast; while I was building Inum, the song "The Court of the Crimson Ring" came on. Nothing strange happened until the song arrived to the Yellow Jester section. Somehow, the image of a strange yellow creature playing with a puppet formed in my mind and I thought "Wait, I can build a moc for this guy". Lasca & Rotte During an order on Bricklink, I noticed that the store I was ordering from had 2 air pumps from the Life on Mars line. I thought it would be a good idea to purchase both. Once they arrived, as usual, I wanted to find a new use for these strange and large pieces. Because this piece is air-bound, I decided to create a pair of villagers, masters of glassblowing. The only Bionicle pieces are the Nuva legs, for the arms I used a flex tube + a sequence of dark gray plates + dark gray 2x2 round plates. 21/05/23

Amp This moc was created as a "challenge," my fellow bruhionicles was building a magnetic guy with only Bionicle parts, I thought it might be an interesting idea to do the same using (almost) only system parts to represent the two opposites of a real magnet. I envisioned Amp as a little troublemaker who likes to steal batteries from other electrical devices, so I also built a table clock using a technic manometer (9641). For Amp's body, I used two curved Znap pieces and a Nynrah Ghost Blaster air pump. 14/05/23

Mesonythid Built for a collab about Elemental Lords, Mesonythid is supposed to be the Elemental Lord of Psionics. For this build I take inspiration from a Mind Flayer, for the legs I used the short neck of the old dinosaurs, the vest is made with the new Avatar wing pieces. 30/04/23

Ducklette Adams After a long time since I first used this way of building, I wanted to go back to the first method I used to find an idea: being inspired by the shape of an odd piece. So I opened my Galidor box and started looking at some pieces. After looking at Galidor Connector Block 6 x 6 x 3, with 3 Sockets and 1 Light Gray Pin (gal03), I found the inspiration. The rounded line on this connector piece reminded me of a duck's beak, starting from this idea I decided to build a space ranger duck. For the feet I find elephant ears to be the perfect match to recreate duck feet. I also built a bunny companion for Ducklette. 02/03/23

Attack of the Beholder! Built for the LEGO Ideas D&D Contest, at first I wasn't sure what I could build for this contest. The very first idea was to build a Mind Flayer but I changed idea pretty quick. It's almost completely built with only system parts, the few exceptions are the dino tails used for the tentacles. The central eye is built using just a pair of dishes, the others 10 eyes are simply Mixel balljoints. 26/10/22

Lunaris For this moc I wanted to recreate one of my all-time favorite Gormiti figures. Gormiti is a toy line of small soft plastic monster figurines created in Italy in the mid-2000s and still produced today. Lunaris is from the third series (2007/2008), he's basically a big bat with legs and a meteor for a head. Although it does not look like it, the internal structure of Lunaris is completely composed of construction/technic parts. The actual figurine. 16/10/22

Carimata This moc was built as a "sponsorship," WeBrick contacted me and decided to send me some parts from their catalog, once I received the parts I had to build a moc using their pieces. The inspiration for Carimata came when I tried to combine the pink technic panels, the empty space between two panels reminded me somehow of a headdress, from there I created a face with tentacles/appendages, and Carimata was born that way. For the sandal straps, I used a pair of elastic bands from the Visorak sets. 11/10/22

Paimon This is a moc I created on commission. The request was to choose a character designed by an artist and build it with LEGO bricks. I chose this character called "Paimon", I liked the rounded head, after seeing it I immediately thought of the half-sphere piece used in Toa Ignika's glide. The original drawing was in black and white, for the colors I was completely free to choose what I wanted. The original drawing, I've tried to be as accurate as possible when I built it with LEGO pieces. 04/10/22

Once Upon a Time... Bonkles Built for the "What if..." Bionicle contest hosted by Ron Folker. For the occasion I decided to use an idea I had in mind for a very long time, I wanted to build an Antibody unit from the cartoon "Once Upon a Time... Life," what a perfect opportunity to use this concept. For the "What if..." factor, I chose to recreate a literal interpretation of how the whole Bionicle concept was created: little heroes fighting evil inside the organism of an actual human being. So the Toa Mata are the members of the antibody unit and Makuta is the vermiform virus, just like in the cartoon. 07/09/22

Yellow Jester The last character mentioned in the song "The Court of the Crimson King" by King Crimson, the Yellow Jester was the spark that inspired me to build a series of mocs following this song. The Jester is playing with a puppet, following the text description exactly. For the smiling part... he is smiling his way. For the jester's hat I used the yellow rubber piece from the Ben 10 series, Jet Ray's wings. 01/09/22

Pattern Juggler The third character in the song "The Court of the Crimson King" by King Crimson, the Pattern Juggler is the smallest of all. For the body of this creature I used Toxic Reapa's mask, the small antennae can hold a pair of balljoint eyes from the Chinese New Year sets. For the juggler's hands I used two lime kraata while the dark green ball was made by connecting two Toa Matau canister lids together. 30/08/22

Black Queen The second character from the song "The Court of the Crimson King" by King Crimson. For the queen I chose to use a different alien style, this time the character is based on an insectoid, the basic concept is an ant queen. It's a pretty simple build, the only non-black pieces being the eyes and the three T-Bars at the top of the head. To cover the lower part of the body, I used Hordika Whenua's mask. 28/08/22

Purple Piper This was the first moc in a series of five based on the song "The Court of the Crimson King" by King Crimson, the Purple Piper is the first character mentioned in this song. I wanted to create an alien fairy playing a hyper-intricate flute, for the face I used a magenta leaf and four pairs of cherries for the eyes. The magenta hands are from the Ben 10 construction line, the notes on the end of the flute are from the Trolls World Tour series. 26/08/22

Myoviridae A bacteriophage made from bonkles, that's all. As a child I always looked at this kind of creature (if it is possible to classify a bacteriophage as a living thing) as if it were a robot, the strange shape of its body always fascinated me. Following this old idea, I decided to rapresent in a moc this thought, since this version is a robot, I thought it would be cool if this bacteriophage could shoot a DNA beam instead of injecting its own DNA into the bacteria. The transparent base at the end of the DNA beam represents a microscope slide. To create the bacteria I used two half-dome pieces that can be found in Toa Ignika (in black), in this case the blue trans pieces are found in the Barraki Deepsea Patrol playset. 08/07/22

Vidrar Built for the First Round of Biocup 2022, the theme was Kaiju, Subtheme Aquatic. I created a microscale undersea station where humans captured one of Vidrar's pups... now she has found the human base and is very angry. For the fin I used one of Ben 10's dark blue rubber wings while the pups were created using a Visorak foot. 16/06/22

Ophiocordyceps Unilateralis Built for the Preliminary Round of Biocup 2022, the theme was Nature so I decided to represent Nature's only true constant: death. This is the infamous "Zombie Fungus," a terrible fungus that infects and controls the minds of ants with the sole purpose of spreading the maximum amount of spores to reproduce. Infected ants are controlled to go to the highest possible altitude (such as atop a plant) to maximize the spread of spores, I decided to add a small branch to better represent the final moments of an infected ant. For the leaves I used a couple of Baranus masks, I've always wanted to use them as leaves in one of my mocs, this was the perfect opportunity. 27/05/22
