Hapori Tohu
The LEGO Movie has been out for three weekends now, and it's been the highest grossing movie for each one and is currently the biggest movie of the year (admittedly there's still a lot of year left)! Box Office Mojo reports that the movie made $31.5 million domestically, for a total of $183 million in the US so far. That's pretty great considering the budget was only $60 million. While it saw a 37% drop from last weekend, it's still going strong and should stay near the top for a few more weeks at least! Toa Smoke Monster
Thats really great! I can see it being at the top for at least another week, maybe two, before something else dethrones it though. But I know Lego is happy they already greenlit a sequel. Vorahk1Panrahk2
Thats really great! I can see it being at the top for at least another week, maybe two, before something else dethrones it though. LEGO's primary competition for the #1 spot will probably be Non Stop and I don't know how much that one will make. Could go either way. As for the following weekend, if Non Stop doesn't bump it then 300: Rise of an Empire or Mr. Peabody and Sherman certainly will. Anyway, for a movie that made it's debut in early February this one is definitely doing pretty fantastic. Provided it has no major crashes at the box office I think it has a solid chance at being in the top ten of the year, although at what place is still up in the air.
