Kakaru
This is a masterwork of building, use of pieces, and photography. Bravo! The Brothers Brick seems to think so too. In fact, I first saw it on there. I tip my hat to you. haha, I saw that like 30 minutes after I uploaded it to flickr. Crazy stuff, right? Oooh, he's nice. How did you do those eyes? Shame he's got a lump half-way down the tail.It appears he wedged minifigure hands into the eye holes of the Ruru. That's exactly right. You need to insert the upper corner of the minifig hand into the upper corner of the eye from the back of the mask, then push down and in. The leverage keeps it tightly in place. I used the same thing on Tali but I felt it would be better suited for eyes. Regarding the tail, I'm not a big fan either, but the transition is both smoother than the pictures make it appear and better than any other technique I tried? If you've got suggestions I'm down to try. Thanks guys!! Hitoshura
LOve the tail design, with the little trident prong thing. Great use of pieces. Quote profiles
Torran
I like that for the most part, those limbs are stock pieces (with tires added), yet they are surprisingly nice to look at. Wrapped around a tight, custom torso that isn't disproportional, and this creation is beautiful. Quote flickr - Brickshelf
Phovos
I may have to grab myself some mini-figure hands then. Maybe the tail could have just been shorter. My very small collection of mostly broken pieces and I aren't of much help in that aspect. Quote Click here to read The Bohrok-Kal's Ramblings! Infernum
Boy, those legs are incredible! Great flow! I also love the face and tail, great color blocking and shaping throughout!
