LEGOLAND Coming to Japan

Recommended Posts

BBC News has a story indicating that Merlin is planning on building a new LEGOLAND theme park in Nagoya, Japan. There are currently six parks open around the world, with a seventh to open in Dubai in 2016. This new one, two hours outside of Tokyo, is scheduled to open in 2017. The project is estimated to cost 32 billion yen ($317 million) and is being funded by Merlin and Kirkbi, a holding company owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family. If you're living in Japan or plan to visit in three years, definitely put it on your list!
