Protector

Edit: now there's a coloured version too, done in coloured pencils. I figured that green/Jungle was the option that worked best with the design, though blue/Water would have been a possible choice as well.

A simple quick lineart thingie from a several hour break inbetween lectures. Sadly I had left my ink pens at home so this was done with a black coloured pencil - bad idea, since it smudged way too easily on the paper of my notebook. :/ So it's not as clean as I wanted it to be. But apart from that, have a yet unspecified Protector. C:

Aaaaww look at the little guy.

 

Very nice sketch you've got there, am impressed by how natural the pose feels.  That, and there's just enough detailing there to keep it interesting, but not so much that it takes away from the overall forms; a great balance between the simple and complex.  Gotta say, your style translates well over to the new designs.

Very nice. Almost feels like how a Protector would appear in the style of the original three movies. Very organic but still captures the character and design of the Protector's faithfully.

Thanks! I'm glad that the pose works; as for the style, I too was pleasantly surprised to find that the new design indeed worked so well with my art style. Thanks again. :3
