Gamma-Ray Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Here's my entry to the Makuta challenge on Rebrick. In this design I really wanted to include elements from the story. For instance, the skull spider on his chest represents the first wave of G2 sets. Additionally, I wanted to give a little throw-back to the original series. I did this with the infected mask hanging on his belt. And the story wouldn't be complete without Makuta's mask of control so I made a brick-built version of it to suit the larger scale of this build. Thanks for taking a look and good luck to everyone in the contest! 7 Quote
Ghidora131 Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 You deserve to win. If you do not win I am going to be very mad at LEGO. Congratulations. Keep it up. Quote
Sumiki Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 This is gorgeous. I love the shaping, the color layering, and really every last little detail to speak of. The G1 infected mask is such a wonderful touch too. The hands and feet seem a tad small, but that just might be photography playing tricks on the viewer. 1 Quote avatar by Lady Kopaka
The Invisible Handman Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 (edited) Yeah this is certainly a model with a good chance of winning. The torso and custom head are excellent, especially the golden spider chest. I wont say you will win for certain though, there are some very good builds in this contest.
