It's any blog that isn't hosted on BZPower.and this is what I get for leaving this tab open and leaving -_-

Its a blog that is not BZP that is not allowed to be linked with because it could deter traffic from BZP blogs, as with forums.

Ah, that's different. Some shenanigans with the software where your blog gets turned into a redirect. Seemed to happen if non-premiers tried to change their blog's title or something (I'm not 100% clear on this).I assume it prompts you for a url.

I think this is all the information there is on the matter right now. It is certainly not intentional, as you will see by clicking on TMD's blog.

Actually, it is not that the administration is worried about losing traffic. BZPower is very comfortably established. It is that the staff cannot moderate comments on external blogs as it can on those hosted here. The advertising policy is in place because it helps to keep content on BZPower appropriate for all ages, and not because of a fear of losing members.Question answered, topic closed.
