BrickPharaoh
For all of you who expected the enemy unit from the Halo games, you're in for quite a disappointment. This is a sapient species that is featured in a project I'll be working on for the next few weeks.Link to gallery here. Some backstory:"The alien creature staggered down the drop-down door in agony, and leaned on its staff for support. As it completed its descent, it began releasing some eccentric sounds that resembled "electronic" moans. The frantic figure looked around with huge blue eyes that seemed to radiate with pure energy. It then stood up, and spoke for the very first time, "My name is Zekk, and I am an Arbiter"."What is an arbiter?", asked Akhmeruhut, the leader of the Anubian troops."We are a race of beings employed by the Galactic Alliance to maintain peace across the Universe. We have witnessed many planets become torn apart by the many conflicts of their people, and we have given many others salvation and helped resolve those fights. The message of my people is a message of peace; however, if anyone dares to defy us, we will not hesitate to unleash the full extent of my power and the power of my brethren."As the eerie creature spoke, two rows of 50 guards began to establish on either side. The Arbiters seemed very organized, so much in fact that not more than an inch separated each two guards, and the row they stood in seemed to diverge very slowly into an arc."I will offer you my hand once: take it, and you shall know peace for the rest of your lives; reject it, and we will subdue you into defeat," said Zekk, as though he was looking at both leaders at the same time with a threatening look in his eyes. The leader of the Horean troops reluctantly put down his Battle staff, and Akhmeruhut lay down his massive axe."Very well. My work is done soon here", said the mysterious creature."Thoughts? Edited January 8, 2012 by DARKSIDERZ Quote "Welcome to Valhalla, Warrior." Paleo
I like the general design, but the hips are a little empty and the head and hands are kinda odd. I like the torso and feet though. Quote Flickr
Akuna Toa of Sonics
This looks good overall, especially the coloring. The limbs are good too, but the torso is lacking filled space a little. Quote Does anyone want to play the Master Chief Collection with me? I'm trying to get a team going for ranked. PM for GT.
Toa Genris
Interesting. I like the staff and the head above everything else. Nice job! 7 out of 10 from me
SuperStickman117
Dangit, I totally thought that it was the Halo Arbiter. Anyway, it's a great MOC. I like the head. 10/10. AuRon the champion
That's pretty awesome! The entire model gives the impression of something unique and alien to the humaniod Toa and Heroes that we are all used to. I'm also a sucker for MOCs with the reverse leg, and your feet and hand design seems to fit pretty well with the rest of the MOC! BrickPharaoh
I like the general design, but the hips are a little empty and the head and hands are kinda odd. I like the torso and feet though. Thanks! Do you have any suggestions on how I can "fill them up"?This looks good overall, especially the coloring. The limbs are good too, but the torso is lacking filled space a little.Thanks. There is nothing I can do about it, though. I can't find anything that fits into the gaps.Interesting. I like the staff and the head above everything else. Nice job! 7 out of 10 from meYeah. The head was originally an asymmetrical one with nose cones for eyes on one side and a Bohrok eye on the other. I thought it would look better if I remove the asymmetry and make the eyes as they should be.Dangit, I totally thought that it was the Halo Arbiter. Anyway, it's a great MOC. I like the head. 10/10.Thanks! I know nothing about Halo other than the names of some characters and units. Probably because I've never played it, though I'd love to.That's pretty awesome! I'm also a sucker for MOCs with the reverse leg, and your feet and hand design seems to fit pretty well with the rest of the MOC!Glad to know it worked. Thanks! Quote "Welcome to Valhalla, Warrior." Eragon3443
The hands look kinda small, and the head is...different, but it's hard to make custom heads. Overall not bad. Quote Feel free to friend me!
BrickPharaoh
Thanks! The head was originally designed for a MOC with asymmetrical eyes, supposedly some sort of pirate...space pirate, that is. And btw, the hands are actually quite large-it's the gaps that give you the feeling of their being small. And for the record, it's a good thing that this isn't a revival. Phew! Toa of Nerds
Yeah, I came in this topic totally expecting the Halo Arbiter. However, what I did find here looked really good. I like how his legs work, it just looks neat. The color scheme is perfect. The red, black, and gray really mesh well, giving him a nice, continuous appearance. Overall he is very well armored and looks full on the inside, with the possible exception of his hips. Other than that, he's a great MOC 9/10.-don't touch my pocket protector Quote Three great comedies at one low, low price....NOTHING!
