Ehlekdude
Very nice. The tiles make the surface smooth and sleek and the paddle is really neat. It looks a lot like a canoe. 9.5/
Taipu1
Sure you don't mean inspired my MNOLG I? Seems more in that style, particularly with McToran Macku. It's a neat little thing though, not sure it'll be water-tight I like how you got the whole thing to curve, particularly in the middle. My one quibble would be the grey angle pieces in the middle. Black would be better, but build-wise, it's perfect. Quote - Taipu1.HighFly MatoranShowdownBZPRPG ProfilesHave you seen my Blog? Paleo
@Ehlekdude: Thanks!@Taipu1: Changing the angle pieces to black makes it look a whole lot darker. The grey ones work in the color scheme better. Quote Flickr
Maganar
Well this is awesome. The scaling is perfect for a McToran; I love how the gunwhales come up just underneath Macku's arms. Nice job in keeping the sleekness continous even on the underside; I would have probably gotten lazy and not perfected the bottom the same way you did had I been the one making the canoe. Very nice! Akuna Toa of Sonics
It definitely looks like it came out of MNOG. It's so smooth, simple, and sleek. And the bottom is done quite nicely. Sparkytron
I love the angles on this one. Sad that the bottom isn't filled up entirly but I believe it's impossible to do with only Bionicle pieces. Very nice work Quote I had a signature once it's gone now
Paleo
@Maganar: Thanks!@Akuna Toa of Sonics: I've never played MNOG, though I should get around to it. This is generally based off of MNOG II, but it's possible there's a bit of MNOG from images I've seen.@Sparky: Thanks! I tried filling it in with both Bionicle pieces and Lego slopes, but neither fit. Quote Flickr
Fsnorglepuff
Oooh, pretty. This is a remarkable MOC, maintaining the basic and technological look of the MNOG while having an excellent design and color scheme. The paddle might be better as a system dinosaur fin (oh, maybe they make them in dark green?) because the complexity and color of the Rahkshi staff end isn't cohesive with the rest of the MOC (or Maku). And a bit more paneling on the bottom ... got it. How about black tubes? And the lower set of holes can be connected with tubing as well. Besides for some rather unavoidable gaps, this is a superb MOC, one of those that just makes one appreciate MOCing. Quote Toa Gali Nuva
Paleo
@Fsnorglepuff: I chose the Rahkshi staff end because it resembled the shape of a paddle. I might try to re-do this creation with a custom-made paddle… Also, where would I put black tubes?
