Takanuinuva
I had this moc on the old forums. But since then I've made changes to make him more movie styledWith that I give you the picturesFronthttp://upload.bricks.../Whenua/039.jpgRighthttp://upload.bricks.../Whenua/040.jpgBackhttp://upload.bricks.../Whenua/041.jpgLefthttp://upload.bricks.../Whenua/042.jpgWeapon right armhttp://upload.bricks.../Whenua/043.jpgHand left arm (I would replace the gunmetal fingers with black ones. Fsnorglepuff
Oh ... my ... Mata ... Nui. And I was impressed by your Jaller sword. Everything on him is very good, and extremely true to the movie, but the Rhotuka launcher ... *giggles maniacally* ... is divine. Really, just genius. Maybe a tad big, but I blame that on the body. In the future, you ought to build a bigger, better Whenua Hordika just to accomodatethat incredible design. Please tell how you accomplished that. To make the rhotuka launcher. I had my dad drill a hole in it until a fully constructed rhotuka launcher fit snugly in the hole. I don't think the shield is too big. It looked about that size in the movie. Originally his weapons was just his old weapon and he didn't have the silver spike on his right shoulder. But feedback from the old topic made me modify it to look even more movie accurate Quote I am Takanui Nuva. tent163phantoka
Nice! If it had a mouth, it'd look just like the movie! 10/10 Quote My Library!
Obsessionist
Brilliant changes! Being a purist, I can't approve of the Rhotuka launcher, but I can acknowledge how accurate it looks and how brilliant it is. I love the hand arm.
nuhvok campaign manager
Excellent work! While I think the Rhotuka could have been modeled to a better size and done without drilling, everything else is flawless. Enough detail to make it look like it's from the movie, but simple enough so it still seems like a canister set instead of a titan. (Which drives me crazy when people do that while revamping canister set...)All in all, I love what you did here. 8/10 Quote VOTE BAHRAG! Tahu: "Who exactly are you?"Preston: "I'm Preston Stormer. The Mugbearer
It's very cool MOC, I like your way of making Rhotuka launcher. One advise from me (I hope it's not tactless): your MOCs are so dusty. Please, wash them. http://www.bzpower.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/sarcastic.gif Edited March 10, 2012 by Artem K Quote <<I am selling LEGO FTL Instructions on Gumroad!>> <<My Patreon page>> <<DIGITAL LEGO MOC COMMISSIONS - OPEN>>
Elrond of Rivendell
Throw purism out the window! This is the most accurate "to life" hordika model I have ever seen! The launcher is just genius, and the claw hand, while maybe not exatly original, makes for a pleasing flow. If I were to make a suggestion, I would say to turn the left hand clockwise and then fold it down, and then attach the hand. Overall, an inspiring work-Bane Quote Gentlemen, it's time to spread the word. Cederak
This is a really great movie version MOC. I also like the dusty look of Whenua, kinda adding to the whole primal, dirty look. While I would never drill through one of my Bionicle pieces, the fact that you went through with it and created such an amazing Rhotuka launcher is admirable, and it certainly paid off. Excellent work!-Ced Quote Cederak's Library l Blog: Fair Enough
Axilus Prime
First off I'm going to say how awesome that Rhotuka launcher is. Pure genius. I don't care if you had to accomplish it by drilling, it's pure genius. Is the dust a coincidence or did you do that on purpose? It really suits him. Also, good use of the Hydraxon hand. All around a movie-accurate MOC, something I once dreamed of doing. (Though with Takutanuva of all characters, so you can imagine how that failed miserably.)10/10. (Hey cool, that's the second time I've been able to give one of those!)

It wasn't intentional but I like the earth effect it gave Whenua in the photos. I'm kinda lazy when it comes to dusting so all my mocs are dusty. Akuna Toa of Sonics
*whistles at the awesomeness*This is just so incredibly accurate to his movie version it's amazing. The larger arm with the spike is great, and the heartstone is a nice addition. Great job on the hand, too.And that rhotuka spinner is just STUNNING.
