Review: Lizaru booster pack.

Ok, where to start....how about here?that's what the set includes. really not a whole lot. one of the cards can't be used by him. if you where able to use it, its effect would make him able to use it. Make of that what you will.the set contains pieces to build the spinner on his "poison whips" card.if you look closely you should see an issue. The vine/whip pieces are not alternating. when spun, it is off balance, even when nothing else is on it. I prefer it like this:when spun like this, it is much more balanced, except for the weapon, but I'll get to that.This is a (somewhat, but not really) better view of the cards.The most interesting one is his "poison whips" card. Rightly so, as its effect takes up most of the pieces.The weapons are decent, I like his flail, but that's because its new to me.it also shows that the little trans green snake whip attachments can be held as weapons. which is pretty neat. Adds a bit of play-ability to the set. (an area it needs a little help on.)here he is with his axe. I quite like the head mold, and the painted details are pretty nice.and I just realized i didn't get one of him holding his axe thingy. whatever you call it.though I can't say I enjoy that weapon too much, i's really heavy, and I have yet to find a balanced position that doesn't impede the spinner. And you have to use it with the spinner upgrades. (or another golden weapon, I can't say I know.)Here's a better view of the snake whips.I must say that these are probably my favorite part.Final thoughts:Good:

• nice minifig
• decent price
• cheaper than buying a new spinner.
• snake whips.
• flail/ball and chain

Bad:

• not a whole lot included
• can't use all the cards included
• gold weapon could be better
• doesn't do much on its own.

If you do not own a spinner I can't say this is for you. If you do, and want more weapons, figures, or cards, this isn't a bad way to get it. or you like the snake figures.Notes:the snake whips do not work on the original spinner mold. only the newer ones. The spinner and crown I used in the review was obtained in the starter pack containing Cole and Rattla. if you really liked it or something.How'd I do? is there a picture you'd like to see, did i miss something, or any other concerns, comments or complaints?Just post a reply and I'll get it taken care of.

I haven't gotten this set yet, but I probably will, just because I love the Venomari tribe. Something I might add though is that the accessories for the bottom of the spinner only work with 2012 spinners, but besides that, you've got just about all the important information. Nice job!

Thanks for the review. It's cool how the blades can be held as "weapons." It's great how you covered up pretty much everything. Also, I don't know but I think the character card is wrong. I always thought Lizaru had 200 Fire and 100 Earth.

Hmm, interesting review. I'm not much of a Ninjago person, though I have been interested in the smaller sets. I'm not really interested in buying a spinner, though. I've considered the booster packs just for the pieces, but I thought it would be a bit of a moot point without an actual spinner. Nice review. It actually helped explain what the booster packs included (and about the cards. I had forgotten about the cards in this series XP).
