onlyairtoa
ADvaNceD Portal Turret--One of my more in-depth edits- a test to see how many Visorak bodies I could work into the MOC.----For those of you who have requested it, you can click the image to view the unedited version of the turret.-- Edited October 17, 2011 by Equuinox
Legolover-361
That is awesome. The usage of Visorak bodies makes the whole thing look very Portal-esque, indeed. Could you post some non-edited shots of the turret so we can see some more detailed views of it? Obsessionist
I love the visorak bodies here!
JohannDakitsch
Awesome! I've seen this on flickr, I believe, and its truly great. Even tough with the not-so-clean Bionicle peieces, you managed to make it still look Portal-esque, and the colors only make it moe menacing. Great job. Quote The night is dark and full of terrors... Fsnorglepuff
Whoa, it took me a second to tell that this was Bionicle. Really great editing work, along with a very creative use for Visorak bodies. Nicely done! Quote Toa Gali Nuva
Paleo
Absolutely amazing work with the visorak bodies. I didn't realize it was bionicle for a sec.Could ya post some more pics? Quote Flickr
Derpenstein
All I can say is...dang. Great work. The use of Visorak bodies is amazing, but it's the eye that really catches my attention. Eeko
That is beautiful. Like everyone else, I'd love to see an unedited version to see how portal-esque it is seperate from that pic.
PurpleCabbage
It just looks... so perfect. The Visorak bodies fit in so well. What is the thing around the red part of the eye though? Is it a tire?
onlyairtoa
Thanks to everyone who has replied- the time you take to leave feedback is much appreciated.--Could you post some non-edited shots of the turret so we can see some more detailed views of it? Legolover-361
I have to agree with Eeko; even without the edits, that is one awesome MOC. The pieces flow together so nicely. Quote (( BZPRPG profiles: Kynaera, Nova ))
Ehlekdude
I've never played Portal, but this looks awesome. The Visorak bodies work great and that red part in the centre stands out a lot. 9/
Evex_Wolfwing
It took me a second to realize that pic was of the MOC, and not a CGI model. Xp This is incredible, and a great use of Vissy shells. Looks a bit like a cross between a Dalek and Turret... Which I am fine with. A bit more rugged than most Aperture Science tech, but thats just how Bionicle parts are. Quote They were called Tenno. Warriors of blade and gun: masters of the Warframe armor. Those that survived the old war were left drifting among the ruins. Now they are needed once more. The Grineer, with their vast armies, are spreading throughout the solar system. A call echoes across the stars summoning the Tenno to an ancient place. They summon you. Allow the Lotus to guide you. She has rescued you from your cryostasis chamber and given you a chance to survive. The Grineer will find you; you must be prepared. The Lotus will teach you the ways of the Warframes and the secrets to unlocking their powers. Come Tenno, you must join the war.
Zaxvo
That is beautiful. Honestly, the visorak shells work better than I thought they should, and the fact that you managed to use them is commendable. Would you be able to give us a completely unedited picture? I'm not worried about the color, but it would be interesting to see more details of its construction. Quote . {Z}
