So I used Smileys in my signature, and instead of showing the acctual smiley, it showed the code for it.

 

Like this: Useing the Hordika vakama smiley would say smilevakama instead of the actual smiley.

Copying and pasting the image for the emoticon should work, since it would act the same as if you were inserting an external image.

If you put the smiley in a post, right-click, press "show image location" and put the URL in IMG tags it should work. For example this code:

 

[img= http://www.bzpower.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/smilevakama.gif ] 

Should display this when in a banner:

 

smilevakama.gif

That happens to me, the smiletakua thing every time after I edit my sig. It stays like that for a while, usually minutes, then turns back into what it's supposed to be. So that isn't too much of a problem, just got to wait. :)
