I would elaborate my thoughts, but I can't. Rightly so probably, there might be lots of hateful words thrown around if that wasn't so.

It's a mix of aspects that are too different and aspects that are not different enough.

And besides, I never said the sets were bad. But the theme my as well have a different name. Would actually make sense, really, considering the shift. :/

 

I agree. With Shurtgal. They acctually have 2009 Set Spoiler Removed. -Nara!

I could use those pieces. and, they use enough 2009 Set Spoiler Removed. -Nara to still look like BIONICLE. Of, corse, they use lots of 2009 Set Spoiler Removed. -Nara, but in a creative way. I like 'em. They aren't that bad. Cept' 2009 Set Spoiler Removed. -Nara, a Titan. I HATE him.

I suspect there are ways where not only they could have kept similar BIONICLE-esque-ness but also a nice totally new look which I would have accepted. But I believe they've accomplished neither. The wrong things were kept, and anything new just doesn't feel like it belongs to me.

But hey, LEGO will succeed in this, and what I say will matter little. Clearly so far the general concensus has been good towards them. As I said in another blog entry, the roles have interchanged, cause usually I'm one of the few that likes the sets at first glance.

I hated thr mistika at first, and now I love them. Hopefully you'll come around to these new sets.

 

Plus, there's alway Summer, too.

Funny, I'm absolutely in love with them.

They seem more "Bionicle" to me than anything since 2003.

Xaeras, for us, THAT is Summer. The later year sets are Winter sets, technically.

Some people like them, some don't. I don't like more than a few things with them, really.

But really they aren't all that bad. They do bring back a bunch of stuff that should have not returned, but the new editions are pretty cool.

True enough, I suppose. But that being said, you can't really judge all future set. Who knows, they may improve in the future.

Mmm...I'm not so confident about what I've heard about the story, either, but I have to reserve my judgement, since I and all of us have heard so little.

 

Yeah, I'm slightly apprehensive on that subject myself, to be quite honest. Have to wait and see though, like you said.
