And I Am Liberated

I am free. From highschool.

Forever.

Nothing can express how happy I am. Mind you, I love learning--but life was making it that I was barely surviving with decent grades. However, I finished roughly with two A's, a B, and a C. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my back. True, there's still college if I decide to go...but that's going to be completely different.

I shall spend my summer relaxing, hopefully getting lots of art and work done...and yeah. I am very happy right now. Not to mention my birthday is coming up and all that...so much stuff happening, both good and bad; one downside is that I'm pretty sick atm...but that's not surprising, lol. But I'm happy right now so that's all that counts.

DID I MENTION I GRADUATED?

College could not be a more different experience. And I won't lie to you, it'll be a lot of work -- and I mean a LOT -- more than I ever got in my 12 years of education prior, but I cannot express how much it was worth it.

Congratulations! You should come join me at the Art Institute Online, I swear it's easy but totally worth it. ;)

While I haven't graduated college (money is expensive), I found my work loads in college much lighter or similar to the loads I had in High School. Now, the biggest difference was the setting. It's a lot harder to write a large paper when you live in another city or state than your parents, all your friends are right there, and there's no real authoritative figures in your immediate life.

We should; also, you're totally invited to my graduation ceremony.

Congratulations!

Any plans for the future?

:k::h:

Not any stable ones...I know I want to do art/writing, but beyond that it is very foggy.

I won't have trouble studying in that area, I think. Past two or three years I practically taught myself school. I think my different way of learning from most others may give me a advantage in college...or it may not. We'll have to see. However, I really doubt I am going to a college with the dorm and all that (low ACT score, can't afford it, some other issues came up), so I don't know.

I think your homeschool background will serve you exceedingly well in whatever future studies you might undertake. :)

Also, CONGRATULATIONS. ^_^

You better be heading to college!! Ima have to slap you if you don't >=[

Not to mention all the great jobs that college can get you.

Haha...I'm not totally disregarding college, but considering I want to be a freelance artist, I don't think it's impossible at all to get a job without going to college and all that. I have to jump through so many loops when I could be on my own studying and learning what I need to study. I don't mind going of course, but it's all up in the air and depends greatly on what I can afford.

When is this graduation party?

I don't think I'm having one. But you guys are invited to the ceremony if you want to come. It's June 5th.
