Studying My Brains Out

Yeah, thanks a lot sickness stuff. Now I'm behind and have so much to do--not to mention all that extra stuff before graduation.

Thankfully, Gibbs has been a rather good study partner.

But on a lighter note, isn’t music such a blessing? I've got my hands on some albums I've been wanting, and they have been really inspiring. Hopefully enough so I can get back in shape with art and writing.

Oh yeah...the awesome EmperorWhenua is having a problem making it to Brickfair, and we can't let that happen. Go read this blog entry and see if you can help out.

(also, just finished organizing my commission list—I’ll be PMing the requesters tomorrow on the matter. I’ll make a content block too so you can keep track of the drawing’s progressions)

I hear ya. I see myself with no more than a half hour of free time a day from now till the May 14. We can suffer together and listen to awesome music in the process!

Yeah, sickness in school days suck. I mean, sure, it won't hit me hard yet since I'm just a Freshman, but losing 14 days of school to sickness has been Karzahni for me. All I need is some good Beatles music, Rice Krispies, and a new season of Doctor Who.

Music is LIFE. Keep on rockin', Lady K!

On another note, why didn't you put up a picture of your cat?

«Takuma Nuva»

Because my cat was having a bad hair day, I think.

Good plan! Hang in there, we'll make it!

A note that is lighter than CATS STUDYING?

the light note thing was referring actually to the evils of studying and not about my cat studying...but yeah, pretty awesome. His favourite subject is astronomy.

What kind of music do you listen to ?

I have a wide taste in music...usually when doing my edumactionz I listen to more calm ambient stuff or jazz (Hybrid, Ed Harrison, Trifonic, Enya, random soundtracks), it isn't distracting. Other times I can be listening to rock one minute, and the next some crazy electronica or classical. The only thing I don't listen to is mainstream music (most bands I like you probably haven't heard of them--ironically I really am not up to date with all the mainstream, though not to say they are bad or anything), bad country, and cheesy 80s stuff.

About the commission thing, Lady K -- you still haven't given me an idea how much I need to pay you for mine. :P

I'm so sorry, things have been crazy here...but I might note on the list, you're in the middle of it I think, so you really don't need to pay me anytime soon.

....riiiight, I was supposed to PM you guys. *head-desk*
