OOC: Ugh, if I don't get him started now, I never will!IC, Reltan: Reltan sat up in bed. He heard an annoying sound of... someone bouncing on the bed, perhaps? Annoyed, the tall Vortixx got out of bed, pulled out his pistol, and stomped off to the noisy room. "Hey, keep it down in there!" he yelled as he banged on the door. "Some of us are trying to sleep!"OOC: Laryn's probably going to recognize his voice, so...

IC: Agate - Inn, Po-koro -Agate stared at the Vortixx nervously, she didn't have anything against Vortixx, but ever since that one Vortixx had done experiments on her, she always kept her distance. "H-hello." She said nervously, trying not to sound rude.

IC: LarynLaryn smiled slightly, and gave Agate a hug. "Agate, it's okay. Calm down." She smiled slightly. "Besides, even if someone tried to get you, they'd have to get past Sythrih and I."

IC: Agate - Inn, Po-koro -Agate decided to lay down on the bed as Laryn talked with Reltan. She didn't dare look at the Vortixx, maybe if she didn't look at him, she'd forget he was Vortixx and not be so bothered by it. She felt embarrassed, she was most likely making Reltan feel very awkward right now. She put her hands over her eyes and tried not to think about what happened to her as a child.

IC: Laryn"I know! We had fun!" Laryn beamed, and then her smile seemed to falter, but only for a second. "So, Relly. Play any games recently?" Her tone never changed, and her grin never ceased.

IC: Agate - Inn, Po-koro -Agate started paying more attention to what the two were talking about when Laryn mentioned games. Did she mean....yes she must have...Reltan must be some sort of assassin as well. Great...

IC:Onewa had finally returned to his Koro some days before. The elderly Turaga had been escorted on the road from Ta-Koro by a guard of well-wishing warriors, and even some of the Ta-koronian guardsmen who Vakama had allowed along. It was these Matoran that Onewa had stayed closest to on his journey, kept his guard up, although he had built up friendships with others on the journey, too. Many of the escort had been great warriors, and they had earned his trust during the perils of the road. Onewa recalled these adventures, the likes of which he had not had for some time, with a smile. On his arrival, the Turaga had been greeted by a crowd of his people. The citizens of Po-Koro cheered and rejoiced at the return of their wise leader; Onewa could see in their faces a release of pent-up tension; fear and worry and unhappiness that all had tried to bravely repress for the sake of others in the absence of leadership was at last let go with sobs of happiness and shouts of joy. The Po-koronians' lives again felt secure and purposeful, and the Matoran were grateful.Hewkii, who had assumed an arbiter's role in the absence of his Turaga, was perhaps the most relieved to see Onewa. When he had seen the Turaga, Hewkii almost tackled the elderly being in a bear hug. The Kolhii player, normally so stoic, had had wet eyes and a stiff neck that eased back to normal with the loss of unwanted responsibility. Onewa knew his champion athlete, and knew that Hewkii must have been wracked with guilt because he didn't stop his leader and friend from being abducted, even if there hadn't been anything he could have done to stop the kidnapping. Onewa felt a pang of empathy for Hewkii; as a Turaga presiding over such a dangerous time and so many catastrophes, he knew that feeling.Hewkii had informed Onewa about what had happened in his absence. Po-Koro had continued to rebuild after the damages done by the Rahkshi attack, and fortunately had seen no more of the fiends since. Contact with the other Koros of the island had been stable. Hewkii had conceived the idea to host a massive Kolhii championship between the Koros to foster unity and morale; Onewa agreed that it was a fantastic idea, and decided to send messengers to the other Koros to pitch the idea. Now, back in his home (it had been repaired and cleaned for his return) some days after the morning of his return from Ta-Koro, and the most severe of crises dealt with, Onewa found that he had some time spare, and decided to write the letters that he would then send to the other Koros to present the idea of a Kolhii Tournament. He pulled out some leaf paper and a stick of charcoal and began to write his first letter. :a:... :k: :m_o: :l: :h: :i: :i:... :t: :m_o: :u: :r: :n: :a: :m: ....But the Turaga's writing was interrupted by a knock at his door. Onewa put down his charcoal and went to the door, which he then opened. His eyes were greeted by a familiar face, and Onewa smiled. "Ah! Enaihu! It is good to see you again!"Enaihu had been one of the Turaga's guard on the return journey. He was a good-looking, well-mannered, cheerful fellow, a Toa of Earth who was always the first to tell a joke or start a song. Once on the road, this Toa of Earth had actually saved Onewa's life; the Turaga had fallen into a crack in the earth with lava at the bottom, and hung only by his fingertips from a ledge a few feet down from the lip of the gorge. Enaihu had immediately rushed to the aid of the Turaga, lowered his grey cloak into the gorge, and once Onewa had grabbed it, hoisted him back up. The cape almost ripped in half. They had both laughed about it after the shock had worn off and Onewa was safe. But today, at the Turaga's door, Enaihu looked grim. Onewa was taken aback to see his companion looking so worried. "What's the matter, brother?" the Turaga asked. "May I come in?" Enaihu asked fervently, softly. "I have news. Bad news. It could cause a panic if it reaches the wrong ears.""By all means," Onewa replied. He stepped aside to let Enaihu into the hut, and closed the door behind him. Enaihu nodded his thanks. "Would you like to sit? Drink something? Onewa asked, "It's a hot day.""I don't have time," Enaihu replied, though he did take the seat. He looked exhausted; Onewa noted that he'd gotten a new cloak, and it was now covered in dust. He probably ran a distance to reach the Turaga. "Onewa, some of the other Turaga have gone missing.""What?" Onewa replied, incredulous. "What do you mean, 'missing?'" "Nokama as taken by a Rahi," Enaihu said. "Matau disappeared from his hut without a trace. Whenua was kidnapped, too, right from under the noses of his guards."Onewa was shocked. "Why didn't I hear about this sooner?" he wondered, aghast."Because it has just happened," Enaihu replied, pained, "and these abductions happened very quickly. As soon as I heard I came with all haste - Turaga, you have to get to safety. Now.""I am safe," Onewa replied, though he was not sure. "The other Turaga were taken from their homes, where they had thought they were safest," the Toa of Earth replied. "I suspect only Makuta himself could have been so quick, so secretive. Staying put where you are expected to be is not safe," The Toa of Earth insisted."It is safer than moving!" Onewa replied. "We both know how dangerous the road is. Makuta's spies are everywhere, and his agents are many." Enaihu nodded. "The road is certainly not safe. But where is?"Onewa considered a moment. "Perhaps I can find a hiding place, somewhere beyond the knowledge of Makuta.""I don't think anywhere is," Enaihu said with a grim snort. "Turaga, I don't know what to do. Whenua, who has been my leader since I was a Matoran, was captured... I was not there to help him. But I know that now I need to stop it from happening to the others. We all do. But I do not know how.""We must take advantage of our knowledge," Onewa replied. "It seems that the others were taken with the utmost speed, yes?""Yes," Enaihu said. "So we must have haste?"Then speed is the only friend I now have," Onewa said. "If Makuta is playing a game of quick moves, then we must move quicker. I must leave the Koro, and stay on the run. I can tell Hewkii to-""Hewkii is trustworthy, but others are not," Enaihu said. "It is safer to tell no one that you are leaving. That could give Makuta the advantage.""But if I leave unannounced, then the people of my Koro will believe I have been kidnapped as well! They must know that I am safe and alive.""You can send messengers back and forth. Or write letters and send them on birds.""I am not Nuju," Onewa chuckled. "I cannot make the birds do as I wish. But perhaps if I brought a few companions, they could carry letters and messages back to Po-Koro so that I may continue to advise and lead my people. Is there time to assemble companions?""Not much," Enaihu shook his head. "As you said, speed is the only friend you now have.""That is not true," Onewa retorted. "I have you. You can come with me."Enaihu blinked and furrowed his brow. "Turaga, I...""Will the other Turaga be notified as quickly as I have been? Will they take action to stay safe?""I would assume so, yes-""Then what else would you do if not help me, Enaihu?"Enaihu had no answer to that; but still, he looked conflicted. Onewa realized that he was asking a lot of the Toa of Earth, and not as diplomatically as he could; he softened his approach."I trust you, Enaihu. You have saved my life before, and I know that you owe me nothing. But you are a good person, and I urge you to help me again now. If I asked someone of my people to go, then the Koro would be that much weaker. I need someone fast and capable and trustworthy. You are all of these things. Please, brother, you must do this if I am to stay safe, or stay in touch with my people... It is the greatest Duty you could do for the good of the island."Enaihu exhaled slowly and rubbed his temples for a moment, hunched over with his elbows on his knees. When he looked back up at Onewa, though, he bore a resolute smile. "You are right. This is my Duty, and it was Destiny that brought me here to you in this moment. I must help you, and I will, Turaga. Let's go." The Toa of Earth stood up, and watched as Onewa went into another room to pack a bag of items. "Turaga..." Enaihu cleared his throat. "Speed?""Of course," Onewa said with a chuckle, putting the bag down. He opened the door, and went outside into the hot Po-Koro day. Enaihu followed him, closed the door behind him....The first letter about the Kolhii tournament which the Turaga had been writing stayed on Onewa's desk. The message was only half-finished, and was never sent. After all, it was the only possible evidence to suggest any sort of reason as to why the Turaga had disappeared from his Koro, which he had only just returned to, without a trace. No other letters or messages were received from Onewa.OOC: You guys might have thought this was over...

OOC: I realize now that Agate never answered Laryn's question about her age, she would be about 16 as a human I'm gonna say. IC: Agate - Inn, Po-koro -Agate, despite her fear, sat up and looked at the Vortixx. If she was understanding them correctly. Reltan had killed a whole bunch of Ga-koran Marines...Now all Agate felt was horror, right in front of her was a killer, who unlike Laryn, had known from the very beginning what he was doing...he was a real killer...

IC: LarynStill smiling, Laryn lowered one of her hands toward her waist. In an instant, the tip of one of her sai was inches away from Reltan's heartlight. Her grin never wavered. "So, Reltan. How many other games have you played over the years?"

OOC: Actually, Snels, he's not an assassin- he's a thief. And he doesn't kill unless he absolutely needs too. He only ran away from the Marines.IC, Reltan: Reltan had not been ready for Laryn to point her sai at him. However, he knew that she wouldn't kill him. Not after the things they had been through. "What do you mean, Laryn?" he asked.

IC: Laryn"You see, Reltan, I recently had my eyes opened. I know what I've done, and I hate it." Laryn's grin seemed almost psychotic. "So I'll ask again. What have you done over the years."
