  1. For interesting colors in MOC, I would go ThornaxxFor an all-around better assembled set, go Stringer.
  2. Random thought: Technic functions. Anything from the boxor's amazingly complex mechanisms to that mechanism that let Onua Nuva windmill his arms (and the chainsaws attached).
  3. I remember my first bionicle- Lewa mata. Probably my first action figure, and a posable one at that. Heck, come to think of it, if it weren't for Bionicle, I might not have ever gotten into System Lego, either...
  4. I use them for spare parts/ giant nuclear warheads for Lego minifigs to use.
  5. I liked the Kal because they were essentially the bohrok, but with better coloration. I always feel tempted to call them the Bohrok Nuva. Plus, they were the first villains to show personality, and, in some cases, they even showed pity towards defeated foes. Not to mention the fact that they *technically* aren't even villains.
  6. Maybe they find an old abandoned bohrok nest? (No bohrok, of course- that would be too much of a crossover).
  7. Onua Nuva's new weapons (chainsaws) were better than Onua mata's. The Bohrok Kal were cool sets- Yes, I like it that Lego released them. Storyline-wise, they were the first set-based villains who actually had a personality. Set wise, that silver gilding, darker coloring, and head patterning is just too cool to pass up.
  8. A rehash of some story themes already covered in media, but not in sets. (Fohrok, more Dark Hunters, more Brotherhood of Makuta members, Ancient Toa, etc.) They'd really help fill in that HUGE, interesting gap between sets produced and the storyline.
  9. "Mark Surge" 1.0 (since Lego already uses pretty bad puns for these guys' names, I prefer to call him "Johnny Thunder.") Core HunterPlanning on getting the new breakout Stringer and probably Black Phantom.
  10. Eh, I mainly lumped the Ben 10/ Cpt. America torsos together because the don't really feel right for robots. The Cpt. America-type stuff , what with the "bulging muscles," and all, look to human for my taste. It's just not a nice-looking appearance, in my eyes. I like my robots looking robotic and complex, not smooth or human-lilke.
  11. I'd love to see a large ruined/ broken down building (boarded up windows, cobwebs, busted up stairs, etc.). It would really add a more somber atmosphere to the otherwise cheerful and carefree theme.
  12. I get a bad vibe from the Ben 10 armor pieces and those armor pieces that they're using with the Marvel hero figures (and now HF). They lack style and they're a bit on the boring side. So, I'd say that I'm hoping for Lego to start making more new armor molds, or go back to reusing the Bionicle armor molds. I would love to see a working grappling hook. Just imagine that in white on a spider MOC.
  13. I haven't been seeing the Summer sets in stores- I've been depending on Amazon for this stuff. Of the heroes, I'd say that Stringer is my favorite. They really emphasized the whole "sonic power" theme. Those loudspeaker parts could be used for a "toa of sound" MOC... My only gripe is the hollow back. Ugh.
  14. Welcome to BZP.

Thanks! I've been a long-time admirer of these forums, figured I'd give posting a shot.
