Hapori Tohu
The LEGO Pirates are setting sail and searching for treasure once again! The everlasting theme gets new sets this year, including a pirate ship, and the LEGO Pirates page has just surfaced on the LEGO website with lots of cool tidbits. Complete with an interactive map for all the sets, the site has character biographies, wallpapers, and even a game code for Minifigures Online. Grab your eye patch and tri-fold hat and look for these sets on the horizon! View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
Taria Pakari
The blood of my pirate ancestors flowing through me is telling me I need more piracy in my life. What better way to satisfy it than with pirate Lego.
Jobber
These look...Pretty generic, even for a pirate theme imo. Dang, I wanted a theme that reminds of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag.
Munty
You know what? I had these pirate sets as a kid. (I know, lucky me right?!) Seeing them again just makes me REALLY want to go and get them for my boys, knowing how much fun they were! Yes perhaps they are a little generic but the pirate genre in and of itself IS a little generic... Good guy ship, bad guy ship, island base, buried treasure. There's nothing really innovative to bring to a pirate theme that hasn't been seen somewhere before, even if that somewhere isn't Lego itself... I actually have the same itch right now as I did when the new Bionicle sets released. I really feel like I need to get these for my kids, even though we all know who would enjoy them more... That SCREAMS good line to me! Toa Smoke Monster
A lot of these sets look really cool, but I probably won't be getting any of them. I spent enough money getting all the winter 2015 Bionicle sets. I have to save up for the next wave now. Quote Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.
