According to this press release from LEGO, they were successful! The new record for the tallest structure built of LEGO bricks is now 35 meters, just topping the last record of 34.76 meters. Over fifty thousand people came to watch and eighteen thousand of those helped build this impressive tower. LEGO seems to be keen on setting a new record every year, so we'll have to see where they try to top this one in 2016! Toa Smoke Monster Posted June 25, 2015 Share Posted June 25, 2015 It really cool that they were able to beat the record. The tower itself looks great too. But you know what I would really like to see? A video of this tower falling to the ground.
