ToaTImeLord
I would have used an actual green Rahkshi head to make it clear its a Rahkshi.I get the idea of a Rahkshi but Lewa's mask confused me for a second. The actual build itself is awesome. The creativity put into this is wonderful. I really like the hip design. Overall good build just not screaming Lerahk. 1 Quote Hey I got a Flickr because I like making LEGO stuff. https://www.flickr.com/people/toatimelord/
Makuta Luroka
Actually I thought it was immediately recognizable as Lerahk. Very nice build, though I'd've probably put Umarak the Destroyers' toes on those feet to make them stand out a bit more.
Wiriamu
A pretty nice piece, considering what you had to work with-recalls Metru Nui Legacy's Turahk model. 1 Quote Voicing your opinions with tact is the best way to keep a discussion from becoming an argument. So far as I'm aware, it's pronounced like this: We're ee ah moo. RWallace
This is awesome. It's a pretty creative use of the mask. I'd totally buy this set.
Disciple
This is great. I got what you were doing with the head immediately, and it's very creative. The only improvements I would make are giving it bigger/wider feet, and adding a little more of the primary green color to the body/limbs. I like that you included the spine/staff that instantly makes it recognizable as a Rahkshi. Would be cool if you tried to make the other Sons of Makuta, although you may have to account for their respective Toa's masks not re-purposing as well as this one did. Good job.
The Invisible Handman
I can see the Rahkshi resemblance and I like the custom head and torso, but unfortunately it doesn't feel lanky enough to be a proper Rahkshi. Besides that the model is good, but not the sort of amazing build that would win a contest. 1 Quote {Brickshelf Page - BZPRPG Profile - HFRPG Profile - Project Protodermis Profile}
Toa of Ice - 1987
I know the old 2003 weapons can be hard to get even on bricklink but it would probably really help if you had the correct lerahk staff pieces. Distorted
Thanks everyone for the kind reviews! I would have used an actual green Rahkshi head to make it clear its a Rahkshi.I get the idea of a Rahkshi but Lewa's mask confused me for a second.I didn't use the original Rahkshi head as I didn't think it would fit with the G2 style or the scale of the MOC (plus I don't own the head piece in green). Sadly the eye holes of the mask are a little distracting - I tried filling them with horns, but they're too small for anything to it in them. Ultimately I decided to stick with the mask anyway because I liked the 'fangs' of the mask's chin. A pretty nice piece, considering what you had to work with-recalls Metru Nui Legacy's Turahk model.Could I get a link to that model? I'm curious to see what it looks like! I know the old 2003 weapons can be hard to get even on bricklink but it would probably really help if you had the correct lerahk staff pieces.I chose the Guurahk staffs specifically as they appeared in some G2 sets and thought they'd be a better fit for the creation. I might try the original staffs and see how they look, though!
