Does anyone know of an actually, you know, understandable chart for I.P.A. to English? I haven't been able to understand Wikipedia's "IPA CHART FOR ENGLISH" because it's so confusing, and they seem to think that certain slightly different words and combinations are the same as others. I know there are diacritics and stuff in it that take care of that, but it's so confusing as it is, that the only way I've been able to decipher sounds for things is by going t

This is basically a drawing I did of a battle in an RPG on another fansite taking place on multiple worlds. I won't get into depth about it, but I will tell you that my character won the battle, and the war on the planet, said war being won after he crashed his 1200 KM long flagship into the world, essentially destroying it, completing his objective of stopping the enemy from garrisoning it further(and escaping it as it crashed).

People, may I ask WHY everyone is so intent on using acronyms around here, especially when you KNOW people are going to ask what they stand for, and you'll eventually need to write an entirely new post to explain it, or send the person in question a personal message defining it to him?

I found this article while browsing around on Wikipedia, and looking at something, I noticed this in the "see also" section. According to this, in July 23'd to July 25'th, it rained blood(or at least something near identical) in a town in India named Kerala. I'm really starting to question why I frequent this website.
Now, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Not at all, but I'm starting to think I just don't belong here, somehow.

Oddly today, I don't feel all depressed and stuff like I usually do. It's strange. It's like that feeling I get when I'm all hyper and stuff, except not hyper. I dunno what you call it, but oddly, I'm just not as grim as I'd usually be. Like, catchy-stuff-and-jokes-don't-get-on-my-nerves kind of feeling. It's odd, but somehow pleasant, and familiar.

In a short, silly way to state it: ELLIPSES ARE ILLUSTRATIVE OF LIFE'S CONTINUITY AND EVENTUAL DEMISE AND JUDGMENT, DOT DOT DOT...

To reiterate intelligently: ellipses are illustrative of how someone never really finishes his/her thoughts in a message, even though they aren't usually thought of in that way, even subconsciously. However, generally, ellipses are used when someone isn't quite finished with a thought- this often is effected
I actually have good news for once.
First of all, I don't know if I mentioned this in a later entry or not, but my condition has been conclusively diagnosed as simply being that my stomach secretes too much acid, and that my Vitamin-D and Calcium levels are low. It's not good, but it's better than it being my stomach being unable to absorb food, or hypoglycemia, or diabetes, or any of those other things my mom kept pestering me about that it "might have been". Is it just me, or does Lego's new Star Justice set very closely resemble the theme and style of the fan-made Pre Classic Space theme?
Even more so, the "Space Skulls" set seems to be a ripoff of the 3vil[sic] theme...
If you don't believe me, just look up the names of said fan-themes. Notice that they have been around since around 2002?
Perhaps the founders of the themes designed the sets, or had something to do with it? Because they really look like ripoffs of those themes...

Recently, I've been thinking of using this drab-mandarin font color instead of the usual dark-enough-to-be-mistaken-for-black grey employed by default. Mostly because it stands out a bit, and is rather original. That, and and the code for it is catchy and easy to remember(D-one-three-E-one-D), so I'm unlikely to forget it.
