...I finally found a reason for using this entry title! =D So, recently I haven't been doing much art- nor BZP-wise. Reason: I've got two hard exams/tests next week,so I'm kinda busy with studying (and/or procrastinatig). Another 'problem' is that I finally decided to do more for my group's lab protocols than just writing up the theory/background and discussion parts. Which means there is tons of math stuff involved, and I am not particularly quick with all thenecessary calculations. Fig
...I was still working on the backstory of my BZP namesake, and the chibi style slowly became a bit more refined and similar to what it looks like today. (thumbnailed because gigantic image ^^") ...I decided that manga wasn't working for me (apart from the chibi style, but that's a different story), so I decided to move towards a semi-realistic drawing style again. 2010 was also a year of trying out many things, like colourful swirls; of course, most drawing was done during classes
Goodness, I hate, hate, hate calculating the measurement errors. It's complicated, I mess it up way too easily... and it takes forever because I'm absolutely not used to it.

:shrug: My life's been even more boring than during university season, I suppose... apart from daily maths practising, maybe. Not much, just ± 1 hour to keep me 'in training', but still... Well, I am still progressing with blender, and recently got a new graphics card (thanks to my brother, who bought a new computer and offered me his old card for a good price...), which means I can finally play one of my favourite games at highest setting and it's absolutely beautiful. :3 But otherwise... n

So yeah, this is one of a handful of redsigns I'm currently working on/with; I'll probably still draw some more before settling on one. ^^
It's an exhausting hairstyle, but also... I don't know, it feels funny. And since I am not really considering dreads at the moment this is the best alternative for a day or two. xD In other words, tried it out today and it looked better than I'd feared . ^^
So my exam went... okay, I guess. Not perfectly well, not a complete catastrophy. I could have done better though. :/ ~ ^ I decided to give Blender another try, so expect a couple of silly and or pointless renders over the next few weeks/summer. Like this little house I finished just shortly ago xD (and yes, I'm working with that wikibook, it's extremely helpful ^^)
'nother exam in two days. Very scared of it, also because it's my first exam of that kind at university. Then again, I still get a second chance in case I really fail it. Probably even a third, so what's there to be scared about?
