Going back to school tomorrow, as well as moving into the house I'll be staying in for the school year. Man, year three already? And I'm a junior or something? Wow. We're leaving at 7 AM (blahhhhhh), and I realized that in all of the stuff regarding the house, my two roommates and I never figured out anything in regards to getting internet service there. Right now, I'm not entirely sure when I'll have consistent internet next beyond using the wi-fi on campus to check up on things, and we'll see
Anyways, I am bogged down with photos (again). We took Shep, our very very old golden retriever, to visit my mom's school so her fourth graders could meet him, and I took (as usual) a lot more photos than I should. Don't become a monster in order to defeat a monster. We are all human, and attempting to turn another person, group, or community into a monster via a lack of evidence and blindingly obvious misconceptions tends to instead turn on its head and make you the monster.
We're updating the Blog HQ: dusting it off, putting another layer of paint on it, getting some new furniture, the works. Once we're done, it should be much more streamlined, much nicer to look at, and overall more helpful for everyone. So, go check it out! While I'm excited for the upcoming BrickFest (which I hope that many people I know will be able to attend!), I am really hoping that I'll be able to go to BrickFair 2011. My mom's attitude is that there is no way at all that I should go ever again, but I feel it's more of a money issue, than anything. So!
I went to the eye doctor for an annual check-up yesterday (where lo and behold, my nearsightedness actually improved slightly?), and ended up deciding to go back to wearing contacts more often. I ended up mentioning to the doctor that the main reason I didn't wear contacts much was because with contacts, it bugged my eyes and would give me a headache when I was reading or on the computer, as I couldn't take them off like I usually would with my glasses. Running of the bulls at the LEGO store was tonight.
