40: A Short Leave

Vacation! I will not be able to get on BZPower from the 30th to the 7th of July. So that means I won't be here for the RPG Contest! Sad. And I'll also miss out on a crucial week of Day Run. So not only will I not be able to promote Shifting Sands, I won't even be able to cause trouble for Parugi. And I just know he is dissapointed about it.   So I leave it all upon everyone who reads this blog post to go out and vote/promote Shifting Sands for RPG Contest 24! Obviously Parugi is in co

39: Questions Without Answers

Ok, so if Shifting Sands makes it in the contest, some things will need to be clarified. You may ask questions here, and I will answer them if they don't pertain to the story hidden away in this world.   Otherwise, I have some questions to ask you. First off, the Toa presenting the RPG, should I tell the story through him? Should he even be there? Should I have him dying to give the first person in the RPG what was given him? If he is part of the story, what element should he have? What ma

38: Shifting Sands Coming To A Forum Near You!

Well, maybe. If it's voted in. Stupid equal rights.   RPG Contest 24! Wow, here once again. A lot of famous dudes haven't entered RPGs yet, which improves my chances of winning and is ok by me. Although it is a little sad that they haven't yet (but not too sad). Anyway, my entry, Shifting Sands, is up and ready to be voted for as soon as the polls are live!   It is literally a sandbox. One does not simply not vote for it.   In other news, OPENING POST FOR IT!     The room sat, cloaked i

37: Red, Blue, And Prince Of Persia

Well, the polls are almost at a close for RPG Contest. Beat and Rhythm is doing good, as is Day Run. But Dreamland: Awakening is five votes away from making it to the next round. It needs those five votes! Don't do it for me. Do it for the sleeping Matoran. They need to be saved!   In other news, I finally finished Prince of Persia, and I got the achievement "Speed Run". I had no clue I finished it all in under twelve hours. Am I good or what? ...Don't answer that.   Now, I don't know i

36: Beards And Video Games

For the past five-ish weeks I have been growing a beard for the first time in my live. Wow. My hair grows fast.   And now I can say from experience, "Beards are ok." So, continuing my exploration of facial hair and my corresponding handsomeness, I just shaved it today into a Goatee. Conclusion to the current investigation: I am still amazingly good looking.   Next mission: Mustache.     So, now on to Video Games. I have so much to do! D=   I have Bioshock 1 and 2 to play, which freak m

35: Rpg Contest 23 And Dreamland

Ok, so, once again another RPG contest is upon us. The entry period is already half over, and a bunch of awesome RPGs have already been posted. Dreamland has once again been entered as Dreamland: Awakening (My first sequel! (Plus my first RPG ever)) Something tells me that it has no chance this contest. Then again, last contest it didn't stand a change either and it ended up beating Captian's RPG by just a few votes.   I must say that things went much slower in Dreamland than I had anticipat

34: Rpg Contest #22

Ok, so it appears that my entry of Dreamland has come third! I am shocked, to say the least. I never actually thought that one of my RPGs would ever win. As such, I am so not prepared to lauch it. Adding to this, I will have limited time on my laptop today, but rest assured that I will try my hardest to get it up as soon as possible.   So much to do! And so little time! Only three months to work with!

33: Dreamland

I've fallen asleep. I keep drifting deeper and deeper inside of my head. All these years, and yet I do not wake. Nor do I feel the slightest tug of reality. I just continue deeper into unconsciousness.   Lately, my dreams have been filled with the visions of friends long forgotten, and enemies forcefully forgotten. For some reason, I feel as if I am settling at the deepest reaches of a trance put upon me a lifetime ago. Finally, I feel that I can begin the long journey to recovering.   But altho

32: Just So You Know

Don't click any of the links provided here unless you want to get signed out. Yep, that's right, they all take you back to the old forums. Just a heads up for anyone that randomly clicks on weird links.   In other news, the next RPG Contest will be in December, which gives us all lots of time to play in the Day Run! And also it provides time for me to work on Dreamland, which really means I'll wait until December and then frantically try to upgrade it for the contest.

31: The Forums Are Back And So Am I

Well, even though it took forever and I have forgotten most everything I had planned for BZPower, I have returned! And only three days late, apparently. But now it appears as if my blog is broken. Oh well, time to get back into the swing of things!

30: The End Is Nigh!

Seriously, the end of RPG Contest 21 is almost here! Just a few more days left until the voting is over! So head on over here!   Don't worry, there are no voting fees. It's just that if you vote Dreamland or Day Run, you happen to get free, rather enticing cookies.

28: An Rpg From Biogaia

BioGaia is having some trouble with getting his RPG posted. Probably due to code issues. Ugh, in that sense, BZPower hates me. Anyway, he wanted me to post a small portion of it here. So I agreed, and here are the NPCs.   Non-Player Characters (NPCs) Username: BioGaia   Character Name: Khiral (KHEE-rahl)   Gender: Male (technically neuter)   Species: Former Onu-Matoran (Matoran of Earth)   Alignment: Formerly Miners' Collective   Description: Being a spirit, Khiral currently ha

27: Beginning Of A Whimsical Story

Arthur looked up from his lunch. There was a commotion ongoing on the other side of the cafeteria. Not caring, he went back to the tray before him and shoveled in another helping of fries. After finishing them all off, Arthur looked around to see that everyone was still staring at the other side of the room. Now his curiosity was peaked, because he no longer heard any commotion.   Looking up, he saw that the far wall was covered in strange white etchings, almost in the shape of a curved doo

26: Inception

Just got it and watched it. For the second time. At the theater it blew me away and I loved it even more at home. I don't know why, but I love that movie!   Also, do you think I should enter the RPG Contest with Ocean Cruise or something new or not at all?

25: Tnemanruot

Tnemanruot For as long as you remember, you have lived on Dnalsi, its sister Retsis, and its small islet, Telsi. Despite the vague feelings that keep telling you that you are missing something grander, you feel at home with yourself on Dnalsi and with everyone who inhabits it. And yet you know no one outside of your small group. No one has ever questioned this. As for the Tournament, it has always been there and you have always participated in it. This year is your first time entering th

24: Another Tournament R P G

So, with the introduction that I made up cuz I felt like it below, what do you think? And yes, the Tournament actually isn't corrupted! GASP! No way, you say? Yes way. Then again, tournament RPGs always seem to start with the tournament and then end up with this awesome story. Well, at least it happened in Tournament of Shadows and Night Ride. Both corrupt. Both awesome. I mean, really, what can we hope to gain from another new tourney RPG? More of the same?   No, I say! More of the

"What's the catch?"   Vronx shook his head, "There is no catch. Not that I see anyway."   Syrifar mulled this over. "Then why can't I remember anything specific. I'm pretty sure we haven't been here our whole lives."   Vronx slapped him on the back and laughed, "Ah, don't make things complicated. This tournament has been here forever. I'm pretty sure it isn't corrupted in some way."   Syrifar frowned, "Why would you say that?"   Vronx just smiled. "Say what?"   "About it not being co

22: Opening Post Of Eb:oc Part 4

IC / Just off the Coast of LOSAR:  Lady Krag moved her eyes into slits and looked north. "They're here," she said to no one and yet everyone that was riveted on her. Her dark green form turned around and stood facing her crew. "Well, what are you doing? Get to work!"   Her crew scrambled to their positions. After hurried preparation, the war pitted SCEBMAS's shield flared up and settled to its usual slightly transparent color. The hulk of protosteel slowly began to move. And as it did, it sunk

21: Opening Post Of Eb:oc Part 3

IC / Somewhere Inside ANOUN:  Guardian glanced around quickly. Where was he now? He knew he had this strange habit of always sleepwalking, but it couldn't have taken him that far away from where he laid down to rest. This time, it appeared it had. He was in a rectangular room. Everything was polished silver. Turning around, he noticed a screen running along one of the longer walls. Everyone else around him was just waking up as well. Many were mumbling they're guesses on how they had ar

20: Opening Post Of Eb:oc Part 2

IC / Somewhere Inside ANOUN:  Luminator hummed nervously to himself in the empty room. The members of Cruise #7 were soon to arrive. Any moment they would appear. The AI could not withstand the prolonged wait. What would they be like? Would they like him? Would they help him figure what was going on with Cruise #6 and all these mysterious rumors of other islands? Would they care?   He supposed that they might just want to be on a cruise, but why would they be? Whoever had sent the flye

Luminator re-ran his logistic systems. They seemed incomplete, cut off. The A.I. felt like part of him was missing. Why couldn't he remember the simplist things? Take names for example. He knew that he had filed away all the names for the members of Cruise #6. The first Cruise he had oversaw right as he had come online. And also the first tournement of its history. What's history? Luminator didn't know. Sawed off information. A half useful A.I. That was all he considered himself. Like why did th

Sevarinous refused to scream. He would not let them see his pain, although his expression showed it quite thoroughly. His body was slowly being transformed into his element: sand. But he was also being mutated as it happened. Horrible pain wracked his body as he could no longer feel below his torso. Inch by painful inch, his molecules were being forced into something they would otherwise enjoy. Mutated sand is not the most comfortable subsance to be turned into. Sevarinous spent half an hour hoo

16: A Swerv Of A Different Name

Vronx glanced around, making sure no one was watching. He even glanced to the sky. You just never knew. Pausing to look down at the object in his hands, Vronx continued onward down into the deep. He had only one job to complete, so that others following in his steps might survive what he could not. Vronx grunted, and drew in a shaky breath. Gills didn't work so well out of water. And neither did his legs, that were rapidly becoming united. With each step, he had to rip and tear apart the webbing
