So I went into my living room last night and found three of my cats unusually staring into our unlit fireplace. I later learned that they were chasing a cockroach that was crawling around that area of the room, but for those first few seconds it was kind of creepy to see them all staring into our fireplace like they were. Especially on the night of Friday the 13th.
You all may recall a previous blog entry I made about The Martian being nominated in the Best Motion Picture of a Comedy or Musical Category for 2015 by the 73rd Golden Globes Awards. Well, this award ceremony was held tonight, and it turns out that The Martian actually won this award! Not only that, but Matt Damon, the actor who played the astronaut (Mark Watley) who was left on Mars in the movie, won the award for Best Performance in a Motion Picture for an actor in a Comedy or Musical as wel
With Pokemon Sun And Moon coming out last week, one might forget that Legendary Pokemon are still being given out for Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, X, and Y for Pokemon's 20th Anniversary. I myself almost forgot to get Genesect, this month's Legendary Pokemon, and I haven't even got Pokemon Sun yet. And it would've been a shame if I had missed it, because I've collected all of them so far. I would've been really mad if I had missed Genesect. But now, I only have to worry about getting t
Note: Slight spoilers for the Pokemon Generations videos are below. Don't read if you haven't seen them yet. I've seen the first four episodes of Pokemon Generations, And I have to say that I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far. It's really cool to see events from the Pokemon world from other viewpoints besides those from Ash and his friends at the time. Plus, many of these events are from the games themselves, which is also neat IMO. I really like the animation they used for make these
According to one of the glitches from Red Dead Redemption, you can fly like a bird. You may look weird doing this, but you will be flying. Until you get shot down by someone in the process. P.S. I didn't make this, and I know this is an older video. I just wanted to post it here because I think its hilarious.
Hapori Tohu is BZP's own 'BZP' account. Just like Twitter having its own 'Twitter' account, or Facebook having its own 'Facebook' account. Those accounts give people updates on stuff related to said sites for their members. But what does Hapori Tohu do? He starts all the topics in the News and Discussion Forums, and....not much else. But he doesn't need to do anything else. For he is Hapori Tohu, and that's all he needs to be for BZPower. He's like Batman, watching over all of us. Twitter a
This is a movie that I wanted to see for a little while, and I'm glad it lived up to my expectations. The Revenant is definitely not a kid's movie (its rated R), but for those old enough for it, I do recommend it. There are some amazing shots of the scenery in the movie. The environment looks just as beautiful as it is deadly. I actually felt cold in the theater at points just from watching this movie. Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, and the rest of the cast do a great job with their roles. Espe
There are a LOT of movies coming out this year. Here is a list of the ones I plan to see. It is in no particular order. 1. Captain America: Civil War 2. DeadPool 3. Doctor Strange 4. 10 Cloverfield Lane 5. Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice 6. Star Trek Beyond 7. Suicide Squad 8. X-Men: Apocalypse 9. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story 10. Gambit 11. Independence Day: Resurgence I've already seen the Revenant, so I can check that one off the list. I might also see Finding Dory and Kung Fu Panda
Thanks to all the rain currently going through Texas right now, I've managed to get almost this whole weekend off. I only had to work roughly three hours yesterday before the Amusement Park I work at closed, and today it didn't open at all. So really, I've only worked three hours in the last two weekends. For someone who hasn't had a weekend off in over a year before this, I will say that it is so weird being home instead of at work. But I'm not complaining. I'd rather be at home than working
I made a Twitter account. After reading everyone's comments about it in my last blog entry and thinking about it for a while, I decided 'Why not?' and just went ahead and made it. I don't know what will come of it, since I'm only following five things right now. (One of them being BZP, of course. ) But hopefully I'll get some interesting stuff from it. Now I just need to think of some interesting things to tweet to the world.
So I was watching a 'How I Met Your Mother' episode today, and in this episode the gang was debating on whether ducks were better than rabbits or vice versa. This is what gave me the idea to present the following question to you all: which do you like more, rabbits or ducks? Though I think rabbits are cute, I like ducks just a little bit more. So which do you like better?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all get to relax today with family and friends. And for those who don't celebrate the day, I hope you have a great day as well.
So I finally got around to downloading the Pokemon Bank last night. I had been telling myself that I would do it for awhile, but I just hadn't gotten around to it. (Thanks to being an adult. ) It feels great now having a place to store all my Pokemon from Omega Ruby and Y that I want to save. Particularly the Legendary Pokemon from the 20th anniversary event going on this year. Though the release of Sun and Moon had a part in me finally getting the Bank, the main reason I got it was because I
It's been awhile since I've done one of these. Let's change that. If you could officially name a currently unnamed comet, what would you name it and why?
...Or it will probably be a hurricane by the time it arrives in my local area. So for those who may not be aware, there is currently a tropical depression, named Harvey, in the Gulf of Mexico that is being predicted to hit southeast Texas, where I live, sometime late on this coming Friday. It's stated that this depression could very well become a category 1 hurricane before hitting land though, and that could cause some flooding power outages, and other bad things to occur. And what's worse
I've seen people say that the latest Pokemon Direct wasn't the most exciting one ever, and I would agree with that opinion. It would've been nice to get some footage of the new games other than a few drawings. But still, seeing all the gameplay footage of the previous games, from Red and Blue to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, really brought back some nostalgic memories for me. That actually kind of made me like this video a little more. And I can't wait to learn more about Pokemon Sun and Moo
I've had the game for a few months now, but I was still playing through Pokemon Y again when I bought it. And I didn't want to be playing through the two games at the same time. So I finally finished Y a week or so ago and now have started Pokemon Omega Ruby. And can I just say that I've enjoyed it a lot so far. The game looks beautiful. It really uses the Pokemon X and Y design to make Hoenn look amazing. Just seeing the title screen of the game alone gets me pumped up to continue my adventur
Well guys, I'm on vacation! Yep, I'm going to have five paid days off from my job. It's the first vacation I've been on in over a year. In fact, this coming weekend will be the first weekend I'm going to have off from work since that last vacation all the way back in September 2014.
And since I'm on vacation, my Dad and I are going on a road trip. We are going to be traveling to Austin, TX for the next couple of days. Which means I most likely won't be on the Internet that much after tomo
So I went to my Barnes and Noble today, in the hopes of getting both Bionicle: Gathering of the Toa and Bionicle: Revenge of the Skull Spiders. They didn't have the latter yet, so I was only able to get Gathering of the Toa. At least they had it on the shelves, unlike when I went there to get Island of Lost Masks. For that one I had to ask for it, and they had to go to the back to get it for me. To compensate for not getting Revenge of the Skull Spiders, I decided to see if they had any 2016 B
I was away from the Internet when the Smash Direct took place, but I've caught up on what I've missed. 1. Cloud and his Final Fantasy Stage are available now. I haven't bought them yet as of this blog entry, but I will probably get them soon. 2.
and Bayonetta from the Bayonetta series of games are also joining the game as playable characters. (Corrin's Smash trailer is linked. I'm not sure if I can post a link to Bayonetta's trailer though, so I will refrain from doing so for now.) I will
After being a member of BZP for four years, I decided it was time to become a Premier Member. Now I've just got to get used to having a blog year round instead of one week out of the year.
Anyone else here watch this show? I've only seen 3 or 4 episodes of the first season and the season two premiere, and I think that its a really cool show. (...And scary...and sometimes gross. ) So, anyone else a fan of it?
