I don't celebrate it, but I do believe different people with different beliefs can still live together in a world as one people, if still several groups within that one people. We're all people, and when you have a religious holiday, I may not believe in why, but that's not to say I can't have a celebration in honor of your joy.
So have a merry Christmas, and wish all your neighbors of other religions a good one too!
You may've noticed a bit of inactivity on the blog's part recently: less entries, skipping WA Weekly Updates, and general laziness ala Rising Moon (or gaviavi, or whoever the identity crisis-suffering go by). I've been busy and generally offbeat on everything recently, on- and off-BZP. I'll be away tomorrow and back and Wednesday, so for now, at least, I'm cancelling the WA contest entirely, postponing any planned events, and putting the blog on a short hiatus of just a few days. Well, to start it off, it was fantastic. I mean, a really incredible movie, on nearly every account. Not going to spoil anything, go see it! Seriously, this was an amazing movie. Harry Potter is a huge event in my family. I'd list why, but that's really for another entry (you can request one, if you want to). The WA's first contest is finally here!
So, this contest is twofold--a Short Story contest, and an Epics contest. Here's how it's going to work--I've placed every entrant in groups of three (read on). 1. I slept 16 hours Friday night. I couldn't keep my eyes open, so I got into bed around 4:30. Woke up way too often, but most of time was too unconscious to actually realize I had the option to get out of bed, except for a bathroom trip at around midnight.
