So, there was another Pokémon tournament in the city yesterday! The tournament used the same rules as the past 3 Nintendo-run tournaments did, so I didn't bother to build a new team. Besides, my last team did well, and there's another tournament next week that uses different rules. My first round was put on the big screen, this time not by design but by coincidence! Well, today is my parents' anniversary, so they're out for dinner atm. My brother is also out at respite for the week, leaving me home alone for the night, so I only get to cook half the lasagne I usually cook on a Thursday. Sadly, it's taking twice as long to cook! I am on a massive losing streak on Skarmbliss' Pokemon Online server, where I can go to practice battles for Video Game Championships. I have tried all sorts of teams --- Trick Room... Rain... Goodstuff... even a troll team --- and NOTHING has worked! Even tutoring has mostly failed me, as mentioned in an earlier entry! I am at my wits' end trying to do SOMETHING right there! I seriously feel like Jessie, James and Meowth trying to capture Pikachu, because I am doing NOTHING BUT LOSING!

There's a story coming up on Australia's 60 Minutes about a crime wave in the Gold Coast that the police are powerless to stop. This is VERY CLOSE to where my friend from my Taming A Street Teenager entries lives, and could very well be the same crime wave he was caught in! Needless to say, I'll be watching the story with interest this Sunday, and might mention some things here from the story later.
