The only game where, in a week, you can kill three people halfway across the island with lead, and then get thrown in jail, with plans for your execution.
Have you ever done/read something for so long that you start to apply it to real life without thinking? Because I played Alpha Sapphire for a long time after I got it. Then I was sitting with my dog and I wondered why he wasn't evolving.
Lego Space has been a big thing for me recently. So I decided to tie every single subtheme of it together as best I could. Criticism/comments appreciated. After years of research and work, the people of Lego Town are finally able to launch a large fleet of space explorers. The CLASSIC explorers, as they would come to be known, station themselves on the moon and begin studying it and exploring the surface. Eventually they discover a cache of rare materials, and one of the higher ranking offic
Option 1: Make a blue/white control deck that freezes everything they do. Option 2: Play Cancel or Negate every turn. Option 3: "Scry" for free. Option 4: Don't trade any cards, even the ones you don't want, because they're "too good". Or, combine all of those and no one will ever want to play MTG with you again! *cries in the corner*
So, I'd seen a few pages of the Nov/Dec issue of the Club Magazine online, but I hadn't really looked at the whole thing. Today I got my physical copy and I saw something that genuinely made me happy. This minifigure. (sorry it's so tiny) Look at this figure. It's not a punk-rock stereotype or some weird villain. It's just a regular, everyday female citizen who chooses to have a blue mohawk. Good work, Lego. Good work.
Does anyone play it? I'm an okay player, I started a few years ago but never really played all that much. Currently I'm working on a blue/white control deck, and I'm trying to find a good price for the planeswalker featured in my avatar.
What's Bionicle about? People run around islands, collecting things to fight evil. What's Pokemon about? People run around islands, collecting things to fight evil.
Today, one of my good buddies invited me to his D&D/MTG club. Why not? We entered the library, and went into a smaller side room with three conference-style tables and a lot of chairs. We did some trading, played a couple games. And then this one guy walks in with a sword. Seriously. So of course, he's playing D&D. With a bunch of other people with weapons. It was pretty awesome.
Dear Lego, Droids from the Star Wars universe fascinate me. Especially the obscure ones that no one remembers. No one except me. So, unless you want to lose an extremely small percent of your sales, you would be wise to release both CCBS builds and minifigures for C-3PX and I-5YQ before the decade is out. Get on it, Bonkle
Okay, here's the answers for all the great questions you guys submitted! The answers are in the same order that the questions were asked, with repetition being an exception. FF the Forgotten and fisher64 asked: Why did you choose the name Bonkle?/ How did you settle on that username? I find myself with the annoying habit of giving myself usernames that obviously relate to the site's topic. I often wonder how people come up with creative usernames. Originally I was going to be "Bionicle Fan"
Okay, I figured out something to do: You people Ask me Anything You Want, spam if you wish, and then I'll make another post to answer them. Have fun! EDIT: This'll be open until 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on Thursday. Same time, but two days later.
Hey everyone, looks like I have a blog now. I didn't really become a premier member for the blog, but here it is. If anyone has ideas for what I should put here, please let me know because I have no clue.
