I'd recommend thinking about what other Pokemon you might want on this team and pick a starter whose typing doesn't overlap with any of those, so you have a wider range of coverage.

TOTALLY TREECKO is the trendiest saying to ever hit Dewford Town, in my humble opinion. That used to be the trendy saying in my Ruby Version, until I mixed records with someone who had started the grammatically horrifying BADLY DREAM trend. Then the internal battery died, so it got stuck that way forever... but I digress.

Anchor Arms are an excellent product that I am sure work for plenty of people, but the most well-known testimony comes from a wimpy sponge who broke them and lost everything.  The company's reputation has never fully recovered.
