I would find out how I died, so that I could find a hilarious way to phrase it on my tombstone.

Hands down I would like to know when I'll die rather than how.

With when, I'll know if all my preparations for the future are worth it or not.  Is getting a degree worth it or should I hijack a sailboat and become a pirate?

I could totally do it, you guys.  I live near water and there's like 20 boats out there every night.  No one would ever catch me...

When seems more practical. With how, you get into the whole paradox deal where you try to avoid letting it happen but it somehow manages to happen anyway when you least expect it. But as Spirit says, when allows you to better plan out the rest of your life and, to a limited degree, the aftermath of your death.

I don't care whether I die by choking on a banana or falling down stairs, I want to know when so I can have a deadline to get what I want done before I die.

Now this is a tough choice for me. :3

I'm just going to say when so I can be prepared for when it happens.

I'd find out when.  Then I'd plan accordingly.

If I die in my old age, I'll take things a little bit slower.  I'd save for retirement, maybe relax and pace myself.  I'd live my life like I do now, going on family trips and finding work and my hobbies.  I'd have time.

If it were within a decade, I'd plan trips.  I'd take more jobs where I'd travel and relocate.  I'd just want to take some memories with me to my final moments and look back saying "yeah, that was an adventure."  I'd probably take some time to visit my family too.  I wouldn't tell them about it though.  That would just be too much to deal with. 

In between those two, though, I guess I'd take some risks, do some travel to the dismay of my savings and just try to appreciate as much as I can while I still have the chance. 

In all of these scenarios, though, I'd adopt a dog at some point.
