Woo! Vacation!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! *falls over from lack of oxygen* Now I have nine straight days to waste without care. It's going to be great... I got a lot of work done today, and I really feel I need this vacation... I am really burnt out...     I watched an episode of 'Without a Trace' with my mom earlier... It's a really good show, and this particular episode was good.     I have some art I need to get up soon... Or BK will eat me... Or at least sic the Hounds of Tindalos on me...

Cape Cod

Two and a half days since my last Interweb fix, folks. Now, I'm on Cape Cod. I vacation here every year, around the 4th of July, with my family. My cousins from South Carolina come, my cousins in another region of Massachusetts come, my grandfather comes (and my grandmother and my uncle visit once or twice), my aunt and uncle from Colorado come, and we coexist in one house for a week. Awesome. This year, my aunt and uncle brought along my uncle's daughter (from a previous marriage, my aunt is my

Earth Day

I had to pick up trash along the side of a road near my house for Earth Day today, and I did it with my family. It was hot out, the branches scratched me everywhere, there was so much trash, it smelled, and I was generally uncomfortable. We took a long while, and we picked up trash from a lot of the part of the road we were cleaning up. My sister brought a friend along, and they were annoying. My sister complained so much... Argh.   But then later an ice cream truck came by and I got an Oreo

Comics, Comics, Comics.

Sorry I haven't been around lately. Most of my time, I've been reading comics, reading graphic novels, reading comic books, reading up on comics, and most importantly, watching shows based on comics. After I watched Superman: The Animated Series Season 3 several weeks ago before I got out of school, I decided I wanted to get the other two seasons. The biggest reasons being several episodes. The first season two-part episode 'The Main Man' is a hilarious one featuring Lobo, a lot of cool aliens,

More Muzzy...

My academic classes were really nondescript... So let's skip to French class. We continued watching Muzzy, and it was odd... Muzzy and Jean (not Jacque, I made a mistake) break out of prison, and go to Sylvie, and Corvax (That goblin thing, I only just found out his name) has duplicated dozens of Sylvies accidentally, all of them hating Corvax as much as the original. Muzzy and Jean (Bob in the English version) did some weird little song-and-dance routine before they broke out, also... It was de

Every Time You Use An Emoticon...

...A little portion of your soul is condemned to a horrific oblivion consisting of nothing but William Hung covers of Madonna songs and Kelly Clarkson... Seriously, emoticons are disgusting. There's this thing called 'language', and people with a grip on the concept of grammar are prone to using it to express themselves. Use words to convey your feelings, not severed yellow orbs with facial features. Great poets like William Shakespeare have made use of language beautifully, and then here comes

Shakespear/tunney In Six Rounds

Went to see it yesterday on a field trip. It was very good, the actor portraying Gene Tunney was great, and it was really of a deep, ponderous quality. Based off of an actual series of lectures Tunney gave at Yale on Shakespeare. I was the only student who appreciated the play, I think. That's just horrible, because the actor was engaging, intelligent, and I felt like I completely understood the points made. It was just the actor addressing the fictional college audience, but it included some bo

B-movie Restaurant

I'm talking about this awesome place in Disney's MGM studios park. It's a sci-fi themed restaurant which has these seats shaped like old convertible cars (with tables, of course) and you sit in the car thing, and while you're there they show all these B-movie clips from the 1950's... Oh man I had such a laugh... My dad actually used to go to B-movies with his friends and joke about how bad the movie was, it turns out, and we had some laughs. Man that was fun.   I'm watching the Fatboy Slim mus

Wuzzat?

You know, what's really funny is that talk show hosts actually believe they count as people. Haha! Fools! That's as crazy as saying John F. Kennedy's cloned secret twin isn't the leader of the Illuminati! No, really, Dr. Phil, a person?! PFFFT!     Oh, nuts, that was an incredibly tasteless joke. I may have invoked the wrath of thousands of fans of Oprah, Larry King, and a few others, too.     QUICK! SOMEBODY INSULT THE FRENCH!     ...   In other news, I was home sick today. I woke up and sp

Another Crack-of-dawn Rambling...

Here I am, at 6:27 AM, writing this. Waking up early's a little nice. However, I just found out that I'm condemned to Homework slavery for this week. I'm gonna hafta be working a lot, which will decimate my time on BZP. However, I'll still be here. Anyways, I have this neighbor who goes to middle school with me, but he's a year or two(I'm 13) younger in sixth grade, and he uses the F-word in every third sentence. He doesn't know how to insult somebody either. He just misuses that swear, so much,

Yeah, I was a packing slave, having to scurry around gathering clothes for the vacation in Florida. Whee.   I'm listening to some Lemon Demon right now... Man have I gotta get one of the CDs...   I'm working on some... Strange... Artwork. Specifically, ninja toasters on mopeds. Just you wait. Maybe I'll get the chance to finish it, maybe not... It's hard, because I need a side view of a moped, and so far I can't find a pic... Nur...   *belch*   I'm sitting here, drinkin' Diet Coke (I snu

Updated My Content Blocks...

But first, my friend (the one with the band) told me to meet him after school today, and today after a dull school day, I went out to the bus stop because I forgot, and thus ran around looking for him. I didn't find him in time, and I missed my bus anyways. But I told my mom I would be staying after anyways, so here I am typing this entry.   Anyways, I've updated my Blog Links block, adding a new and awesome blog you should all see. To be specific, Cthulhu the Dreaming's blog. Go read it now, v

Sigh Of Relief

I talked to my dad this morning, and we had a very long talk about how he wanted a divorce. I talked to him about how my mom has been depressed ever since my Grandma, her mother, died, and told him that divorce was both a hard and easy way out, and the wrong choice, and I convinced him to try to fix his problems with my mom through counseling. I still don't know what will happen, but I am much, much less stressed and I can only hope the counseling works. After I had the talk with my dad, we drov

Cthulhu And The Movies

No, this is not about everybody's favorite down-on-his-luck sociopath Cthulhu the Rage Cannon, but on an issue I have with Hollywood. For, you see, numerous movies have been titled "Cthulhu", which would lead one to believe that the movie featured Cthulhu prominently, or was an adaptation of the H.P. Lovecraft tale from which the deity originates, "The Call of Cthulhu". But, NO. IT'S ALMOST ALWAYS A HORRIFICALLY DISFIGURED VERSION OF 'A Shadow Over Innsmouth', ANOTHER LOVECRAFT STORY. Worse yet,

Very Weird Dream...

I forgot to tell you guys, I had a freaky dream... I was with my dad and sister or something at this Chucky-cheese like place, only way different, it was nighttime and raining, and I was interchanging with being a weird, side-scrolling, purple-suited Luigi who was kinda pale and strange, fighting tons of Goombas on these pyramid like structures. And then I was back in the building, on what was like a city made out of those pipe-and-bridge kid's structures, and I nearly lost my balance and I was

National Anger Day

I say it's National Anger Day, so go give people you don't like a piece of your mind, from the hostile section of it. Yeah, that's an order... *hisses* Go be mean to the guy who cut you in line at the coffee place last week. Talk smack about the mom of the person who always breaks into your locker and steals your favorite snack from your lunch. Push that arrogant guy who never shuts up and never gets punished by teachers for being a bully to the side. Tell the chatty, superficial girl who sits b

No Sleep

After my relatives came over for Mother's Day, I spent some time online, and then went to bed late. And I got no sleep. I tried to fall asleep but I couldn't. I was up for an extremely long time. I tried drinking lots of water, but that didn't work. I tried plenty of things, but got no sleep. To pass the time sometimes, I read The Watchmen, and finished it this way. And I still couldn't get to sleep. It was just so agitating... My body felt ready to shut down but I couldn't get to sleep... I kep

OCTOSQUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID! Now isn't that cool, children? But watch out for the giant Hobosquids and Octotelemarketers... They's everywhere and they're out to eat our brains or some sort of vital organ. Or maybe just steal condiment packets from Taco Bell. Whatever.   I'm gonna listen to Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" now, it makes me feel nostalgic.

Road To Nowhere

I'm gonna post the lyrics to one of my favorite songs, "Road To Nowhere", by the Talking Heads. Coz I feel like I'm drivin' on it... Had a bad day... --"Road To Nowhere", by the Talking Heads... It's great, really.   Anyways, to let off some steam... ARGH! AGH! RRRRGH! NRRAAAAAGH! ARRRRRRRRRRGH! I had "one of those days" at school, and I think it's going to turn into "one of those weeks", as my luck usually has it. My day was AWFUL. The concrete death trap sucked out more of my dignity and

Air Travel Companies Are Evil

Think about it. Flights are a hassle to arrange, half the time expensive, and get cancelled or moved or changed often. It's a pain to deal with the conditions on a plane, like a cramped economy section, the lack of actual food and the *choke* lukewarm soda! Plane rides are bumpy. You have to deal with whiny children, annoying people who are talkative, which is even worse when they sit next to you, ignorant people who make messes, people with no concept of personal space who sit next to you and b

A Recap.

Today, the strange, tappy extensions of the things on the end of my arms shall beat out the misadventures of a man who has overly internalized philosophical quandries several times a day, who is increasingly angry and bitter, who just barely recognizes the connected implications of not feeling full familiarity with your own voice and the level of insulation you provide in your mind between the trivial parts of your everyday activities, habits, and flaws, and your more personal moments, who is di
