(bleh, need to find that clip in better quality so I can make a better GIF)
I has book report. =(
It's boring. =(
I think most of it's going to be... "filler material." There's a more common, two-letter name for it, but I'm not allowed to say it here.
First off, I make this promise to myself:
I am NOT going to watch another episode until I get these first four college apps done.
Now, for the hard part... willpower...
So basically I've heard Excel Saga mentioned several places so I looked it up and read the basic premise and it sounded really funny so today I finally decided to satisfy my curiosity and watched the first episode.
It was hilarious.
And weird.
Mostly hilarious.
I read that the English dub actress for Excel st
First off, so it's nice and noticeable:
EDIT: Scratch that. Vote for B_D.
Secondly, took the AP Calc AB exam today.
Very easy, fairly confident of a 5.
Well, I don't feel like making two entries for this, so before I get into the bigger portion a bit of news that gets categorized under "Life."
Took the Math II SAT II today. I was absolutely stressed and the allergies... my right eye wouldn't stop involuntarily twitching... my fingers were shaking, my arm was aching... I finished in time to catch not a single mistake. Hopefully that means I got mostly everything right and not that I missed everything I got wrong...
It wasn't really that ba
Guess what?
We're moving way to slow for the Science League in Chemistry class.
Therefore I had to teach myself a heckuva lot of the stuff before taking the NJ Science League qualifying test today.
I made 4 of the 5 tests last year and I hope to make all 5 this year. Attend and take, of course. And at least make alternate, though getting on the team is great.
Unfortunately, I have no danged idea how to work hybridization (actually, now I grasp it more) and pi bonds and sigma bonds an
G Gundam's are far too exciting for my own good.
"OMG it's a mummy." *clicks*
"OMG a dude gets possessed by the Devil Gundam." *clicks*
"OMG IT'S FRIKKIN MASTER ASIA." *clicks*
"OMG old rivals and Rain gets in the cockpit and geez I should be doing homework. Must... not... give in... to urge..."
I should probably... just... stop watching the episode previews.
... seem to get more replies
Therefore I am posting this entry.
It's raining out. Kinda stinks.
It also stinks that B-Shelf and Maj have been spazzing out. Wonder if that'll affect the BBC contest voting.
Seen some nice entries, but maybe it's just me, seems like a somewhat low turnout. Eh... or maybe I just scanned the list rather quickly. Or maybe it's just that few entries seemed to stand out...
Anyway the point of this blog post is...

So for English we have to write a "college essay" from the point of view of Iago, from Othello.
Interesting assignment (much better than "analyze this passage for theme and motifs"), but it's kinda difficult.
I like what I have so far, though...
Actually I think I can have some fun with this. I think I'll post the whole thing once I'm done.
Well, a lot's built up all at once.
There's the AC14 Computer Final Poll...
PSATs are TOMORROW...
Oy, there's a LOT of pressure on right now...
I just played my dad in chess, sorta to ease the stress and stuff. I lost, of course, not exactly because my dad is more experienced (he's more experienced in Chinese chess, though, that's something... but I'm more experienced in Western chess...) anyway, I'm just not practiced enough at seeing everything on the board at the same time... kind
Ain't they adorable? =D
yay for da psychotic kitty! One with the blood on her paws. Definitely my favorite one. I have like twenty-nine-thousand and a half other doodles of her, all with speech bubbles to accompany them.
No they don't have pupils. Who needs 'em?
Fwee!
And by the popular request of a grand total of two people, avvies:

Me: Okay, I've parked.
Dad: All right, let's go.
Me: Wait, what button locks the car?
Dad: Oh, don't worry about it. No one will want to steal our car anyway.
Me: *looks at beat-up, 13-year-old Maxima with paint scratches, no hubcaps, and a bent license plate* Well, that's true.
Mom: Good, good, nice job parkAAAUGH!
Me: AHHH WRONG PEDAL WRONG PEDAL!
Me: It's hot out. Should I close the windows?
Mom: Hmmm, you can leave them open a little. It doesn't really matter though. Nobody's goi
Classes, at least. All that's left is the Physics field trip (to Six Flags. Yeah. We'll be doing loads of "physics") and Senior Society (aka go volunteer somewhere instead of going to classes. No homework, no tests, I'm perfectly fine with that).
That is all.
While I really appreciate all the encouragement, I really haven't posted a single chapter, or even an excerpt, of 52-Pickup yet, and I don't want to get everyone's hopes up and all just based on my goal of what I intend to do.
I'm going for something pretty ambitious and I think I have some good ideas but I really don't want to disappoint anyone. Reading over it so far, while I'm satisfied with what I have and it provides a good setup for what I have planned, it's not exactly the funniest o
Something that's interesting to think about: Given the same beginning circumstances, would the same ending occur? Inevitably?
Think about it. What if an event happened, say, for example, let's have a throwback to Mr. Robert Frost, what if two roads diverged into a wood and you had to choose which one to take? And you think, and you mull it over, and the wind blows, leaves rustle, and you finally decide on the road less travelled.
Now, let's say time rewound, back to the moment as you were
For some reason, I can draw (in fact, prefer to do so) and do most of my homework (Latin, Physics, math, etc.) with music on... but I'm unable to write very well. Be it an essay or a story, if I'm actually putting thought into it (which means my Global Studies essays don't count; they're 90%, er... "filler material" [as the actual term is not allowed on BZP]) I can't concentrate right if something's playing in the background.
That was a lot of parenthetical statements. Anyway. Off to turn off
Went to Columbia's Days on Campus today. No excuses anymore, I've been to all the campuses and I've got basically all the information.
I have to decide which college I'm going to.
... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH THIS IS SO HARD.
Goshdarnit if college would just have the decency to be free this would be a much easier decision.
What, was I supposed to come up with a more creative title?
Before anyone asks, NO IT WAS NOT LIKE IN THE MOVIE. I'm not even certain the museum HAS a T-Rex skeleton. I'm not saying it doesn't, it could, and I naturally didn't get to see all of the museum, but if it did, it wasn't right there at the entrance. No, the entrance-- one of them, at least, it wasn't the one I entered through but it was where I exited-- the entrance is dominated by Allosaurus vs. Barosaurus. And Allosaurus is pret
Two people in my neighborhood were arrested and accused of murdering their parents.
Two young people. A guy and his girlfriend. Accused of murdering the guy's parents.
The girl was in my art class. Sophomore year. She sat at the same table that I did.
I have this book report that I've been massively procrastinating on for days which I must finish tonight since it's due first thing tomorrow.
I have my speakers on higher than usual volume and WinAmp is on, playing my favorite songs.
My sister's wonderful piano compositions are still quite audible and distracting in the background. >< I went and forcibly locked the damper pedal, but I dunno if she undid that already.
As much as I encourage her creative and musical development... I
I've had a crazy week.
Last night I spent filling out a bajillion forms that I didn't know about until yesterday and that were due today, concerning next year's course selections. I was down to my counselor three times this week. That is, past seven days, not week starting on Sunday.
I've had a cough all week, every since I was sick last week. Today I think I'm definitely improving. It only took three Ricola to get me up to here today. Went whole hours without a cough drop in my mouth. Fir
Now here's a scary story. Today coming out of the school parking lot, apparently two of our buses crashed.
Daaaaaang. That is scary. I mean, it wasn't our bus, I know. I didn't even witness it, but... I think our bus sorta had a holdup going out of school. Think we stopped a bit. Didn't notice. I was reading. I'm always reading.
Still... I mean, it can't have been too serious, maybe some people got whiplash or something but I doubt anything broken and if anyone was killed, well it'd be mo
