It's not quite the Ides of March, but in fact, it's better. It's PI DAY. The day to celebrate such an important number in the world of mathematics. I will be celebrating after I post this. Oh and also it's time for our Weekly Update.

Just so everyone is aware, the colors for some of the groups have changed. Now that the Reference Team is no more, the Reporters have adopted the old RK yellow. Retired Staff, meanwhile, have taken the Reporter orange. This makes them look similar to OBZPCs but still stand out (as opposed to the ugly-ish gray from before). Yep, so that happened.
Apparently people like to indent the first line of paragraphs. I was totally unaware of this, and had gotten out of that habit in middle school sometime, and just included an extra break between paragraphs, or in Word used the 'space after' setting, or whatever it is. But once I was made aware of the issue, it was a pretty easy fix. I just added a new BBCode to 'tab'. It just adds five spaces wherever you put the tag. Doctor Who season premier on SciFi tonight, so I better get this done quickly! A lot of people are really busy this time of year, what with taxes, and semesters ending, and AP tests approaching, so don't be surprised by the lack of activity.

I thought I'd dedicate a quick Blog entry to Than: Matoran of Anger, BZPower's newest Forum Leader. If I could tell you the story behind his promotion, you'd be on the floor laughing, but alas, you all are not privy to such information.

So, first and foremost, a former staff member has returned to grace us with his presence on the staff once again. This crazy Aussie is helping us out in BBC and GD, so watch out if you want to break the rules in there. It's good to have another familiar face back on the team.
Also, we have an RPG Contest going on that I realized I haven't shamelessly advertised in here yet. So
So I just saw the Castle Season 4 finale. Wow. Definitely don't want to spoil anything, but it was certainly a roller coaster of an episode. The ending has me excited for Season 5 and sad I have to wait all summer to find out what happens next. That, to me, is the mark of some truly great writing. I was also glad to see Tahmoh Penikett in there - he's a great actor and deserves a leading roll in something again. Maybe it's time to rewatch BSG...

So I read the short story The Minority Report, by Philip K. Dick, tonight. It's the story the that Steven Spielberg/Tom Cruise movie is based on.

I'm a fan of good thought-provoking movies with decent amounts of action, and I thought The Minority Report was a good movie, but it's just so completely different from the story, and in this case, I think it actually benefits in some ways.
