It isn't dead. Really, it isn't. I haven't done anything on the Nuva-tweaking side, since that requires a lot of editing colors that I'm not really confident I can do, but! I've decided to add a new side to Project Nuva. One that takes the basic adaptive armor designs of the 2008 Nuva and makes them look so much more like the Nuva.

Things are slowly actually turning green around here... *bounce* The grass is no longer so yellowish, there are shoots coming up from all the flower beds, the ivy's turned a rich shade of green, and above all there are buds on all the bushes and trees. And it's supposed to rain tomorrow, which will be great in and of itself and will make everything look even better. It's about time, and I still can't wait for the rest to become green with leaves and new plants and everything else...

The purpose of this entry is to rave about Brutaka. I finally unpacked my assortment of Lego from Christmas yesterday (I haven't had any time this past week), took him out of his box, and he just radiates power.
It's the combination of being really tall (he ties with Roodaka as tallest, excluding Kardas since that's a combiner), bulky, covered in spiky golden armor, and weilding a huge sword. He has a really solid construction, both in build and posability, as the 2006-n
Remember Erato, the plant I bought a couple weeks ago? I spent quite a lot of today outside, either gardening or just sitting around, and I finally repotted her. (It? Plants are hermaphrodites, but this one is named after a female...) Now she has a nice dark green pot instead of the ugly orangey-brown one she came in.
She's an Aglaonema of the Emerald Beauty variety... The yellowish-white flowers are old; only the pale green one, on the left in the first picture above, actually looks nice
It is so weird seeing images I made all over the forum. Pretty nice, though. I'm very fond of how most of them turned out. And oh, I had fun making them (roughly two-thirds, more if you count things I finalized), even if it took a while sometimes.

So, life update!
My semester has been busy so far. That's what comes of taking five full courses, I guess, but wow there's a big difference between that and the normal 4/4.5 I had last semester. Which is part of the reason for the lack of updates. I just haven't had -time- to work on much of anything not school-related.
But that should change
Really, it's almost 60º... It's pleasant outside, cool, most of the snow's melted, and everything's sort of moist as a result. I love winter, but I love spring even more, and this little taste really makes me want it to get here soon. Reminds me of why I love everything about spring, basically. Alas, we're supposed to get snow and cold for the rest of the week, but still, this little break from all that is very refreshing...

Last summer I planted a bunch of things around the back yard. Over the weekend, I noticed that a few of them were starting to grow, I think four out of a row of six I planted. Well, today, I was outside (enjoying the 40ºF weather, eating a banana, and wishing somebody had been around to give me strange looks) and noticed that a fifth of said plant had popped up. Not in one of the remaining two spots.

They have a plethora of recolored pieces, among which are some I've been wanting since 2006 – white round Inika feet and (apparently) silver smooth Inika chest armor. Dark bluish grey Mantax feet, Piraka legs (unless they're light bluish grey, which would be wonderful, but even the leaked pictures didn't establish firmly what color they were), Inika thigh armor, Inika bodies... a dark bluish grey Kongu Mahri body construction is good in
So that took a lot longer than I had expected. There were a number of delays, five to be precise, and most of them weather-related, but I've finally posted Hewkii Mahri revamped. Seriously. If you know how I usually photograph stuff, you'll understand why weather causes delays. That and getting home after dark two days per week.

I love Apollo. Or at least the one translation I read that rendered the part where he appears to Ascanius as "Apollo, God of the Flowing Hair", which is an absolutely wonderful description. At this moment, I am eating a pop-tart, drinking Sprite (oh the glory!), listening to Amarantine (It's in the Rain just finished), and wearing contacts. My eyes are still getting used to the last (and my goodness, they're hard to put in, especially since I have fairly narrow eyes), so things are simultaneously blurry and in focus, but that'll fix itself.
