It's been a while since I blogged about my financial situation.
However through a combination of gifts, leaf raking, and my summer jobs, I'm now up to 3/4 of what I need, $700, the closest I've been since my father bought this laptop instead, so I felt like telling someone but didn't want to pester someone on AIM.
The period of time where we have no night will be a pain, but if this actually works(I'm already reading a few articles from credible-yet-forum'd sites saying it won't), suffice to say it'll be very awesome as far as I'm concerned. Seriously, two suns, that's just cool if it works. Can you imagine what the explosion will look like, even from way out here on earth?

Because if she can sell that many records in that short a time period with that annoying a voice with lyrics that bland, I can sell twice that much in five decades.

So, based on my estimates, I'm about $300USD away from having everything I need to home-record, self-market and independently distribute a five-song EP of original songs. If I did so, would any of you buy one for $5USD?

I'm not a communist, but whether or not you like it, it's hard to argue that with that kind of killing ratio, Stalin and his drive to reach the modern age saved Russia from being steamrolled, stealing Germany from plenty of supplies in WWII, leaving them fighting a two-front war, and making it so the Russians weren't like they were in WWI fairly arguably saved the world from becoming a Nazi-controlled mess.

Why does nobody sell this movie? It won eleven of sixteen awards it was nominated for, and it's apparently an excellent movie. Why am I unable to track down a copy and decide for myself whether it's not an older Twilight for nerds or a quality movie, expecting the latter from Mr. Miyazaki?
