Tired...

I can't wait to start working on my webcomic again, but I'm pretty much crunched for time until soccer's over. Until then, google it and check it out. I'd love to hear what you think!   Oh, and I got my SAT scores. Did pretty good... I think. I won't get the details for almost another week. >_>   I get my Senior Pictures tomorrow!

You Know You're Obsessed With College...

I had a bad dream last night that my SAT scores weren't good enough to get into college, and I had to re-take the test.   I should probably quit obsessing over college so much...   I don't even get my scores for another four days...

A Brief Update...

Hey guys. With the new forums and everything, I realized that I have a few projects that got left hanging. I'm going to do my best to update you on what I've been doing, and what I'm going to do with everything here.   First, the forums:   -My Comedies. I'll gradually re-post these, but I have other commitments that are taking most of my time right now (More on that later) Once they're all updated, I'll start writing again. I just get so many Ideas at once...   -The Comedy Critics Club: Since th

A Full, Rich Day.

-Made Girl's State. -Got the Wicked Fairy in the school play. -FINALLY got my taxes figured out. -Spent two hours driving around doing errands, and picking up siblings.   AND   FINALLY got a GCN memory card. Wind Waker is MINE! There's only one stumbling block.     Homework. Blech.

Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker

March 14: Spent $20 on Wind Waker   Found out that it would not work, and could not find a place to return it. Thankfully, I got it cleaned and it worked. Sadly, I lacked a GameCube controller.   April 11/12th: Purchased GameCube controller for $8.   April 16th: Gamecube controller arrive. Eagerly put the disk in, plugged in the game... and I need a GCN memory card in order to save it.   This is turning out to be one expensive venture.... Nothing I can do now but think of a new plan (and

Ccc Critics

Hey guys.   Thank you all for working so hard on the CCC awards this year. It turned out great. However, (I think you will probably agree) There are a couple of things that we can improve on or do better. This will also be a chance for us to get our normal CCC duties sorted out. So this will basically be a round-table discussion about the awards, how you think we did, and how we can improve. I’ll put up a couple of points to start us off.   Communication/Public Relations: This was a HUGE issue

To Do...

-Homework -CCC Awards Final Chapter -More homework -Re-organize CCC work/re-do list. -Still more homework -Review a comedy (not looking forward to it...) -And did I mention homework?   I've also got work, and I need to clean out my pickup. So it's a looooonng weekend. (Can't wait for a new quarter! Summer's almost here!)

Nooooooooo!

Don't you hate things that JUST WON'T DIE!?!?!   Like stories. Or Ideas. Or stories that generated a huge amount of spam and was closed for excessive flaming. And the author banned. AND IT STILL WILL NOT END!   I can see an inferno on the horizon...       By the way, you should all check out Iden 21. It's a really good new comedy that is being started up, that happened to be started at the same time as the un-dead one, so we should all Give Iden 21 a round of applause and good criticism.

Turn It On Again...

Because I'm tired of the silence...don't stop the music...It goes on, and on, and on, and on... 'Cause no one can rock the way you rock.   (Bonus points to anyone who can guess which songs these are from... except for the first one in the blog post.)   So yeah. Tired, bored. Sick of schoolwork.   Completely forgot what I was going to post about...     OH YEAH! I'm writing the final chapter for the CCC Awards Ceremony, so it should be up soon! Can't wait to get this done!

April Fools....

Now, what kind of joke can I play on my siblings today?   I'm debating whether or not I should short-sheet their beds, or just make them and make them think that I short-sheeted their beds. Or...   I could tell them Grandma's coming a day early, but I doubt they would fall for that anymore...

Disneyland!

I am finally back from my vacation/mission trip to Los Angeles, CA. A week-long trip experiencing the... interesting and varied cultures of this megaopolis. I really don't want to go over all of it now, so I'll put up the highlights:   Trip: -Worked at Emanuel Babtist Rescue Mission, a homeless shelter in Downtown LA. Cleaned clothes room, office, and chapel. -Cooked/served breakfast at North Valley Caring Services. Also organized clothes room. (everyone on the trip agrees that this is wher

The First Annual Ccc Awards!

The Ceremony Topic is UP!   We've got the red carpet chapter up now, and the correponding announcement chapters will be posted within the week, within a 24-hour period of each other. That amounts to a chapter a day. (it might be two, accounting for life and such.)   But otherwise, we're almost done with this! :runaround: So go read it! it's called: The Awards Ceremony.   Meanwhile, I'm going to try to focus on my homework...

Back Online...

I've had this PM that's been sitting in my inbox all week and I COULDN'T OPEN IT! Finally got to open it, though. So the CCC awards are back on track.   In other news: I finally got Smash Bros. Sadly, due to my Wii being old hand having played many disks, the lens is apparently dirty and needs to be cleaned. (It couldn't read the SSBB disk.) So it's currently sent off for professional cleaning from Nintendo. I'll play it... Eventually...

Comedies Forum...

There are those who can stomach the chaos...   There are those who feel queasy at the sight of horrid jokes...   There are some who just stick it out...     And there are those of us that want to cry because no one will read the rules!     How many comedies nowadays are made by writers who haven't even read the basic rules? I've seen a bunch recently that have been closed because no one will read the rules... It's not that hard.   In semi-related news, the nominations for the CCC awards

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I've been trying to rent it from the video store for at least two months now. Either I'm out of town, or someone else rented it first. last friday, I had it reserved so that I could be sure I would get it. It was never returned in time, and I gave up. And I'm gone this weekend.   I'm debating at this point whether I want to try to use Gamefly, or if I want to fork over the $50 and just buy it this weekend if I have time. I've played it before, and I've played the melee version in Science class

The First Annual Ccc Awards!

It has started! Nominations are taking place now, and will go until the 15th of February. I may consider an extension if three weeks seems a little short.   Feel free to nominate your favorite comedy. You can even nominate your own!   Here's the topic. Nominate away!     And actually, I did get the Kindle. I've heard the most about it.     Now I just have to study for finals...

Kindle?

I'm seriously considering getting one. I read enough that I almost need a second bookshelf in my bedroom, and I can't keep track of what I read. If I get a kindle, I won't be dragging about five books with me on every car trip. (For those of you confused, my average car trip lasts about 5 hours. And they're frequent.)   Problem is: Do I want 3G, Wifi, or even a different brand?   So many choices... I need help!

A Hooked Excerpt

Since you guys said yes to my previous query, here's an excerpt from the book I'm working on. It's acutally near the end of the book. ***  After a while, my feet started wandering of their own accord, to the point where I hardly noticed where I was walking. As I walked I tore and threw pages of the manuscript in my hand and tossed them to the wind. How could I have lost? My manuscript was perfect! Wasn’t it? These questions tumbled around in my head, repeating themselves over and over unt

Epic Fail... Again

Okay, so I failed epicly on NaNoWriMo this year. Again. But I keep coming up with great ideas for the story...   And I want some opinions: should I post excerpts from my story for you guys to read? does anyone care? (It's easier to write something if you know other people will read it.)     In other news: Plowing into a snowbank in a 4-wheel-driveless church van is NOT fun. Especially If you happen to be in the passenger seat with a full view of what is happening...

Yes, It's My Birthday....

And I'm Exausted.   I just spent the last couple of days at district Honor Choir. It was kind of boring, but going to see EOU's Phantom of the Opera was cool. I even got to meet my online makeup class teacher, who was directing the play. I was looking at the stage, wondering where he was. About five minutes before the play started, I realized he was sitting right behind me.   oh, and of course the entire honor choir had to sing happy birthday to me. In as many different keys as possible. Bes
