note, that is not Pirates IN petticoats. that would be scary.
so, the Drama club put on their production last night, and the night before. because of my stupid schedule, I wasn't able to take the class. HOWEVER, the drama teacher (who is also my english teacher) said I could help out when they got close to the performance night.
so now, I'm the curtain girl. I'm the one that raises/lowers the curtain, turns on the lights and sound, and makes sure they have all the props.
meh, It's bet
I dressed up as Catwoman. My costume, for one that was put together from scratch, was pretty good. the high heels really hurt, though.
My BFF Numi dressed up as Batgirl. we followed my siblings trick-or-treating (mom wouldn't let us T-O-T. we had to stand on the street and watch.) and did a lot of walking.
it was fun. but I was going to do some pranks on some friends....
I can't wait for next year.
I acheived FULL GOLD! WHOOHOOO!!!!
ok, what I really mean is that on MarioKart Wii, I won gold on every single grand Prix. even the mirror cup. I am happy.
only now, my little sister's mad because she didn't get it before me, and dad had to take the game back to the video store.
so now she's terrorizing the house. oops.
but I'm still having a good evening.
last night was my first night of Young Life. essentially, a bunch of kids (normally high-schoolers) get together and goof around, like playing music, games, and just playing around. It was a lot of fun. afterward, a lot of us went over to the local Dairy Queen for ice cream. I've been asked to come to Young Life several times before, but I always had homework, or chores, or I just didn't want to come. and now, I won't stop. it's just so much fun!
sorry about the past few weeks. life's been a little busy.
and even after revising the poll to include all types of fast-food restaurants, the two most popular types are mexican and sandwiches.
and now, for the new poll of the week:
which is better: system or Technic?
1.Technic
2.System
3. both are equal in my mind.
if you insist on another option, I will assume you mean DUPLO. I'm not kidding.
hey guys, I have to do a speech for english, and my topic is a history of lego. unfortunately, I don't know of any sites that give a good history. ( I am NOT using Wikipedia) if any of you can direct me to a good site, or can give me some history that you know, that would be fantastic.
thanks again!
I've posted a lot today. I'm in the top 5 of the top 20 posters list. what fun!
as long as it means i get out of the "protodermis" stages in the rankings sooner...
EDIT: *GASP* 38 posts today. I'm exausted...
thanks to my poor memory, the last poll of the week was late, and therefore got one reply. It looks like the apples win!
and now, for the next Poll!
(EDIT: Let me Say it differently...)
Poll 3
What's your favorite Type of fast food place?
1. Hamburgers (McDonalds, Dairy Queen, etc...)

I got to attend a Young Americans Workshop on sunday, through teusday. I had to travel up to La Grande, and I also had to miss school (which is such a loss![/sarcasm])
It was a lot of fun. I even got my own solo!. I also got to wear a 'Fro.
All in all it was a lot of fun. Now if i can get dad to watch the video...
sorry, I forgot to update. this will be tougher than i thought...
The results of the last poll indicate that most of you have great phobias of song-and-dance routines, as #3 was the popular choice.
And now, the next poll!
Quick, choose: Apple or Banana?
1. Apple: their red fruity deliciousness is irresistible!
2. Banana: They're a great food to play with!
3. Both!
4. Neither! Pomegranates are the best!
that's right! every week, on wednesday, I am going to post a new poll. and it is up to you to respond! so here we go!!
Poll #1
You're In the middle of the cafeteria, eating lunch. suddenly, everyone breaks out in a perfectly coreographed version of "stick to the Status Quo" from High school musical. what do you do?
1. Jump in. If you can't beat them, join them!
2. Ignore them and continue eating. They aren't doing anything to you.
3. dump your tray and run screaming out the door. You'
Homecoming dance. aside from the Prom, it's probably the most popular dance in the high school year. I, being a homecoming princess, had to attend. it was kinda fun, and a tad embarrasing. see, I kinda...Um...set the princess sash on fire...
IT WASN'T MY FAULT!!! see, I had gone to use the restroom, and I set the sash down on the table in there. but I didn't realize there was a candle on the table, and I accidently set the sash down on it.
oops. I had no idea fabric could melt....
I
okay, enough sappy stuff. time for good news.
Homecoming was last night. As the sophmore class princess, I, of course, had to attend. I stood in the cold for half an hour with out a jacket. finally my car arrived, and i dove into the nice, warm backseat, semi-ruined by the fact that the car was a convertible. Then all the princesses got together for a group picture. we then realized we had all dressed in the school colors (red and black) with out meaning to.
Half-time came. we all piled in
I remember that first day... the sun was shining, cotton was blowing from the tress (yes, cotton grows on trees). The local Parks and Rec. decided to host a "friday academy" and everyone who wanted to participate could choose one or two different classes. Martial arts was among the choices.
Dad was the one who drove me to the first lesson. It was just before nine in the morning, but I was wide awake, eager to start. I was also very nervous, and kind of scared. my parents were more cautious,
Isn't going very good for us sophomores.
First day: Space Day. I dressed up as a comet. I saw an astronaut, several aliens, two Jedi, One princess Leia (two if you count the school counselor) and the cow that jumped over the moon. Sadly, about 20 people dressed up out of 200. At least I think it was 20.
Second day: Pirate day. More people dressed up, but the majority of the school stayed simple.
Third day:Inanimate object day. I dressed up as a sock drawer, after thinking about several ideas.
the other night I attended an all-night bible study with two of my good friends. essentialy, we stayed up all night and did fun things, like go watch the football team play in a nearby town and play games and eat food. I did not get to attend the first part, because i had to work and couldn't meet the group in time to see the foot ball game. so at a quarter to midnight I went to the bible study leader's house, which is right next to the church, and i visited with his wife, and talked with her a
Okay,
first, I lost 35 figures to a thief
then grandpa dies
Then I find out that the local martial arts studio I attend is going to close due to lack of enrollment.
And school starts tomorrow.
It's just been a bad couple of weeks.
but i got a couple of new books, and i got to visit OMSI again. it brings back the memories... of sandboxes and sushi.
and although I didn't get into Drama this year, I don't have gym either. WHOO!
now i have to go get my stuff together...
Because someone stole about 35 of them off my Lego model for the fair. :crying:
I went in to see how it was, and there were a whole bunch of figures gone, including my favorite. RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAVILION!
I hope i can get them back...
Edit: my model lost the people's choice award by one vote. ONE lousy vote.
the superintendent for the crafts division said that she would push for Lego creations to have their own division next year. I told her I would be happy to help out
While BZP was down...
Saw Harry Potter 6
Went to Roaring Springs
Played lazer tag
Built a special lego model. I might post pictures sometime...

Played lazer tag
Performed in a melodrama
and did i say play lazer tag?
See, the martial arts studio made a group trip to a water park in Idaho. we went to Roaring Springs, and Wahooz, which was right next door.
they had lazer tag.
it was fun. I love lazer tag. I do now, anyways...
