Well over this last weekend, I made quite a bit of money. On Saturday night, I made $65 for just busing at Joe's. I spent some on gas and food. I deposited the rest into my savings. On Sunday night (which is usually a very slow night), the hostess called off, so I had to bus and host. Because of that, the servers/waiters/waitresses had to tip me out twice as much and I made another $65. I put some more money down on God of War: Chains of Olympus because the demo was enough to make me say,
Well I've been going Phantoka crazy over the past couple of weeks since they've been available at several different places. As of about 11 PM EST on Friday the 11th of 2008, I have all of them (including Spiriah), except for Mutran & Vican and Icarax. I haven't been able to find Icarax anywhere as of yet, and none of my local Walmarts have Mutran & Vican, HOWEVER, there is a new 24 hour Walmart opening this Wednesday so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
In other news, business at Joe's
*wipes off dust from blog*
Wow, it HAS been a while since I've been here >.<.
Anyways, this Holiday season has been going very well for me. I've gotten some extra hours at work, which is definately a good thing seeing as my savings account went from $350 (approx) to $11 in like two and a half weeks. Luckily, my (for reasons unknown) small check that I got on Wednesday revived it to $122. Now I just need to build it up .
What'd I get for Christmas you ask? I'm getting to it, h
Got my copy of Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings a few hours ago, as well as buying a Gamestop/EBgames membership (it was long overdue) and reserved my copy of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. FF is ftw all the way!
Yeah, I'm basically having a repeat. Today I have school, some computer time, and work. Tomorrow, I have school and my mom and I are taking the night to clean the house. Saturday, I will not be home from like 8 AM until 2 AM. Sunday I will be gone for church and work. Monday I will open at work, do school, and then go to a Relient K/Switchfoot concert. Wish me luck on another hectic weekend 8D .
Today is the start of a very long weekend. Seeing as it's Wednesday, I'm sure you can see why I called it long . I'm going to do school and then go to church to help set up for our Halloween party (I'll take pics) and dress up as a Ring Wraith. I'll be there until after 11 PM most likely cleaning up and tearing things down.
Tomorrow, I have school and after that I have chores. Work is it 4:45 PM until about 11 PM, so if I can find time to get on BZP between the chores and work part, I
This month of October has been media month for me. The first week of October, I bought the Collector's Edition of Rise of the Silver Surfer with a holographic cover. The following week, I bough the Two Disc Edition of Transformers (amazing movie). Last week, I went out first thing in the morning and bought Relient K's new CD "Let It Snow Baby... Let It Reindeer," which was an awesome CD. Lastly, no more than an hour ago, I went out and bought the 2 Disc Edition of Spiderman 3! I really need
I don't know if I beat Omi to it or not, but I got Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for PSP today (and reserved Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings), but sadly won't be able to play it until after 10 PM due to me having to cook dinner and go to church, but oh well, delayed gratification pays off.
I guess Omi beat me
Well several good things have happened to be lately.
School has been going great. I've been taking Chemistry at a Community College for the past two weeks and it's been going pretty smoothly so far. There's a good possibility that I can take College Literature and Writing in Spring. I made $40 dollars bussing and hosting at Joe's Crabshack yesterday (unless it's a weekend night, I usually expect to walk out with less than $20). My debt's worked down to $212 and
Ok, well school has started. I'm down to one job and I'm only working on the weekends. Meaning... less money... but more time for BZP. So, I think I can say for sure that I'm back for the school year. Understandably I have to have priorities, and since this is my Senior year, school will come first, but luckily that doesn't take all day .
I'm gonna try to blog consistantly to keep everyone up to date on my life right now so if you see me go more than 2 days without an entry, bug be abo
Okay, as some of you may have noticed, I haven't been around the Forums much this summer. Believe me when I say it's not by choice. Life's been so hectic, I really hadn't had time for BZP. Let me explain the situation.
Back in January-March, I was without a job. Because of this, my folks paid my car insurance, but of course expected me to pay them back (which I'm not complaining about, that's perfectly fair). It had gotten to the point where I was over $400 in debt to them which caused m
Well at 7:15 AM, June 14th, 2007, I'm gonna be 17. Exciting right?
But should I really celebrate the fact that I've got 1 year of childhood left? How should I spend it? Should I try to mature as much as possible or should I squander it on video games and TV?
Well I'll post another entry tomorrow telling y'all what I got.
I highly recommend seeing Spiderman 3. It was by far the best one yet.
Spiderman 3 could fall under several genres in my opinion. It was dramatic, tragic, humorous, and action packed. For anyone who hasn't seen Spiderman and/or Spiderman 2, you should see those ones beforehand (though it's not essential, it would help a lot). If you are one of those people, you should see Spiderman 2.1 instead of just plain, old Spiderman 2, if you have the option that is.
I won't give out spoilers bec
Guess which movie I'm seeing at 12:01 AM, Friday May 4th, 2007?
That's right, Spiderman 3! I'm gonna be wearing all black to the move in the spirit of Venom . I'll be sure to take a pic of myself and to write up a review for the movie.
Random Fact of the Day:
A cockroach will live up to 9 days without its head before it starves to death
I just got back from work at about 1:50 EST. I was supposed to get off at 2:00 PM, but because of how hard I worked, and how slow we had become , I was let off early and given a free fish sandwich which is an LTO (limited time offer). We're down to 3 bags of fish, so once they're gone, the fish is gone .
Anyways, I just thought it was time that I make a random blog entry
Random Fact of the Day:
When Praying Mantis' mate, the female tears off the head of the male!
I'm on the Staff Page!
And the whole reason I wasn't on it already was because of my own ignorance and procrastination XD .
Aside from that, I'm doing much better (I'd say I'm running at 90%).
Random Fact of the Day:
The average teen spends 40 hrs a week digesting media! (that's a full time work week)
Well, after about a week of suffering from asthma, I'm doing somewhat better. I'm not coughing a whole lot, my throat doesn't hurt anymore, but I've still got some drainage going on (yuck).
Aside from that, my job is going very well. I'm only working like 9 hours a week though, so I'm not making as much as I had hoped right now, but then again, I'm still in training. Once I've learned a few more things, I'm sure I'll get more hours. Actually, that opportunity for more hours may be rapid
Hold on, hold on...
Okay, I'm done. Well this week has been very long, but I'm not gonna post the whole thing because it would take too long to write as well as read.
Basically, all in a nut shell, I had a sore throat earlier this week and I had to go to the doctor's office about it and my doctor asked me if I was smoking! Though none of you can testify to the contrary, believe me, I don't smoke. Too many reasons not to.
It's a sign of the apocalypse ! I, TLH, actually MOCed something and entered it into a BBC. I never thought I would. At least check it out and tell me what you think.
Coming Soon: My next Random Fact of the Day will tell you how they determine what day Easter falls on every year!
Oh man, stress, stress, stress, stress, stress, etc.
Yesterday, my sister had an orthodontist appointment at like 9:00 AM, so we had to get up early and make sure all of our stuff was together. After the appointment, I went to Enrich (my homeschooling co-op group that I go to every Thursday). I always have to be there an hour early (ll:30 AM) because I'm on the Student Council. For the past two months though, I've also been on the Enrich Banquet Committee. We've been planning out a Banque
Well, I did get the job at Arby's but due to them being very busy, my orientation was postponed until yesterday night. It went very well and I will get about 3 hours in this week hopefully. I'll be working full time, well actually part time, starting next week (1st week of April). I'm certainly looking forward to my new job starting and I'll definately gonna have to post a pic of me in uniform just so you guys can laugh at me.
Um... yeah, I'm really tired. I've gotta catch up on some of m
I got a new job! About two weeks ago, I was filling out several job applications and almost got a job at Bob Evans and Red Robins, but they both fell through. Fortunately, I thought it wouldn't hurt to call Arby's and see if they were hiring. They were, so I went in and filled out an application. I didn't get a call, so I called them last Tuesday. They told me to come in for an interview yesterday at 5:30 PM. They didn't even ask me any questions. They just told me what to wear (until I'
