The average human being over the age of 20 looses about 50,000 brain cells per day!
Many of you may ask, "TLH, how do I prevent this slow decay of my mind?" You can reduce this number (by about half) by keeping your mind in shape. You can do this by doing things such as, learning a new language, putting together complicated jigsaw puzzles, etc.
Well, I'm up in the middle of the night. I've already done tomorrow's school and I just can't get to sleep. Ever since my dad switched from Budweiser to 7-Up, I've been hooked in MONSTER energy drinks. My mom had to tell me that I can't drink energy drinks past 5 unless I've got to stay up for some good reason.
I was thining, there's a lot of people on BZP who have revealed their names and I figured, what the heck, if any wacko sees my first name, they can't hunt me down because they don
I got blog of the week! This is sooo awesome.
It all started with going to Church and hearing a guest speaker named Wanda Casper who is a missionary to the Philipines. She's had some awesome things going on there. There wasn't much else that happened there today.
After service was over, we had to leave immediately to go home and put my little bro down for the his nap.
We got home at around 12:15-ish and when we did, I drooled over my Kardas set (almost literally ) and played wi
Well, I'm sure you can guess what I got by the title of this entry. I found Vezon & Kardas off of 13 Mile and John R in Madison Heights, Michigan. I got him yesterday and MAN! he is awesome. I can't even put it into words. He's just really, really cool. I'll post a little pictureless review of him here in a couple days.
Well, I'm now working 3 days a week instead of 2. It's actually a good thing, because I could use the extra money. I'm going to be working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Not much has happened today other than school and work. I found out that I will be allowed to get BIONICLE Heroes for PS2 and Nintendo DS the day it somes out . I'm gonna see if I can get the Advance version for Christmas.
Random Fact of the Day:
There are over 2 million dust mites on every matress and they eat of
I missed a day of blogging. Sorry about that, yesterday was non-stop.
I started by doing school, which I finished at 11. Then I had to have lunch and be ready for work by 11:45. At 11:50, my mom took me to work. I worked from 1-5. I came home at about 5:20. I showered, ate dinner and left for Friday Night AMP at my church. I got home at about Midnight, so I had no chance to blog yesterday. This day's just beginning, so I'll tell ya about it tomorrow.
And the fact of the day is:
Well, today I went to the Orthodontist to get my braces tightened (ouch) and as usual, I'm not gonna be eating a whole lot of food aside from yogurt and stuff like that for a couple of days. I collected enough Captians Coins (something that my Orthodontist gives out as rewards, for taking good care of my teeth, and being on time for the appointments) to buy a $5.00 gift card for Blockbuster. I'm going to go there at 7:30 PM and buy the Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects for PS2 .
Well, today I finally saw the Pediatrist (foot Doctor). I've been experiencing some intense pains in my upper, right ankle and it turns out that I may have Tendonitis. Nothing major, seeing as (according to the Doctor) I'm, "Young and resiliant." I feel fine over all, but it still kind of stinks. Oh well.
Aside from that, I'll be going to Youth Group tonight and I'll be in the skit. It's pretty funny over all. In the skit, this one kid is picked on and shunned by everyone because he h
YES! I just got all eight of the McDonalds BIONICLE toys. I don't think that they're as great as the actual building toys, but they're good for my 22 month-old brother to play with (he's fixated with my BIONICLE sets). I wish I could post pictures, but my parents won't let me use the camera . So, all I've got left to get this year are Umbra, and Vezon & Kardas.
Well, I slept in today for the first time in forever. I think that I finally realized that blog entries don't need to be paragraphs long and that they can just be short entries, so I'll be making quite a few more entries, more frequently.
Just to do something exiting, for a while (until I run out of them) I'm going to be putting random, useless facts in my blog every day. Here's today's random fact:
The average human being sheds a pound of skin per year.
Well, it's been a while since I've blogged (gotta get more consistent with it), so I figured I'd to it while I've got the time.
A lot's happened these past couple weeks. Obviously, I started that "Save BL7 Campaign" and I can only hope that it goes through. According to Greg, we are making progress with Scholastic. Our e-mails are being noticed and hopefully we can nudge the sales up a few thousand and change their minds.
I've gotten my 2,600th post, moving me up to "Emerging Ice Wa
For those of you who have recently been to the Movies & Books Forum, you may have realized that I made a topic concerning the cut in a BIONICLE chapter book next year. I ask that you support it. There were going to be 4 Chapter books next year, but Scholastic cut one out of the schedule because the BIONICLE novel's sales were going down. The biggest problem with this is that our beloved BZPower member and BIONICLE writer, Greg Farshtey (GregF) was going to have some very interesting thing
Well here's how it's been since Sunday night.
After I last blogged, after the Renaissance Festival on Sunday, the youngest of the family who took me wanted to spend the night with my sister. She did and on Monday morning she went to my mom and said that her head itched really badly. Well, it turned out that she had head lice. So, my mom took her home immediately and then she came back home.
After that, I had a job interview at Bob Evans. The manager was very impressed with me and rea
Well, here's how my life's gone since I last made an entry. Over all, life has gone on pretty normally until Friday.
My second oldest friend called me to see if we could hang out on Monday after my interview (I'm applying for a job at Bob Evens) for a couple of hours. By the end of this month, I'll have known him for 10 years.
I work at a party store on Woodward which is the street where the Dream Cruise takes place every year. For those of you who don't know what Dream Cruise is, it'
Well, I've been gone for a while. I did in fact get back on the 3rd and guess what I did after I got back? I slept and slept and slept until 8 AM on the 4th.
Then I had to go to work at noon which was good, my wallet and savings account needed to refill (well, my wallet did anyways, my savings account just needed another fix).
After work, I just wanted to sleep some more, but no, something came up: We were going up north for a day to visit my oldest friend who I've known since I was 3
Well, I'm getting pretty hyped up right now because Survivor Camp is coming up . It's the annual camp that my youth group does, but this year, it's different. Survivor Camp used to be only for the Junior High, meaning I haven't been to it in two years, but now they extended it to the Sr. High age group and I am just estatic. It'll be from July 30th - August 3rd. There are so many fun things to do there.
The games are awesome. When we all get there, they divide us up into 4 teams with t
Well, today I had an appointment with a councilor from OCC (Oakland Community College) to see if I qualified to "Dual-Enroll" in a Chemistry 1000 class. Basically what that means is that starting this school year from September to December of 2006 I'm going to be having to be doing a whole lot of studying. It's a one semester course that counts as one High School credit and 4 College credits. So this will look very good on my transcripts when I actually go to college in the not-so-distant fut
Well, today was pretty much cleaning. My sisters aren't very organized with our DVDs and VHSs so I took the liberty of making sure everything was put away and back in alphabetical order like they should be.
After a hectic day of cleaning and mowing the lawn as well, I came inside and celebrated having the 21 sets that Greg was talking about in his 2006 Sets topic in the Sets Forum. In my room, on my desk, I proudly displayed 6 Voyaran, 6 Piraka (can't wait to find out what their species n
Well, life has been non-stop, I mean, it's been crazy.
I will have the pictures up soon, but we just got a second computer for the basement and I had to help set it up and I built the desk for it.
I've finally been able to work again and I'm going to try and get some posting in within this next week and the rest of the summer.
I'm officially an 11th Grader now . I started my Algebra II, Civics & Economics, and my Spanish that way, I finish earlier (Remember, I'm homeschooled)
Well, I'm going to be able to start posting pics here on BZP by Friday.
So here's how the rest of my week went. I helped out with Summer Soaker on Wednesday and then I helped set up my youngest sister's Birthday party. Shortly after (in the middle of her party), I had to go to church.
Thursday, I really can't remember what I did.
Friday, I went to work, but my boss told me to stay home because he didn't think my hand looked good enough to do heavy lifting right now. I'm going bac
Well today was not only the two week anniversary for my hand getting all gashed up, but it was the first of three days that my church is doing their annual summer outreach called Summer Soaker. It's for 1st-5th graders and anyone older than that helps out. My two sisters attended this and I was able to help lead one of the games.
It was a blast having fun with all of the kids. I was fortunate enough to not get my hand wet so that's a good thing. Over all, my hand's looking better. Ther
Well Today was pretty fun. After Church I ended up going over to my friend's house. He is a member here on BZP, but he's not really that active right now. His name is Javan1000 here on BZP. He's pretty cool. He turned 11 back in February so there's 5 years between us, but we get along pretty well.
We played video games primarily. We played Spider-Man 2 and I ended up lending it to him for a week. We also played Return of the King for about an hour and a half. He really enjoys play
Hello people. Today' s entry is going to be pretty short.
I was grounded for two days because I didn't listen to my mom when she told me to clean the kitchen even though I can't touch the dishes because I can't get my hand wet unless I'm in the shower. I could've cleaned the counters though, but I learned my lesson.
I GOT THE TOA INIKA ! Oh my gosh, are they awesome. The canisters are HUGE. I mean they are big. I made some modifications to them so that they're Toa tools (not th
