I've been working long, hard hours, so this may come off as me being crabby, but I'm beginning to get a bit frustrated here, guys. It's as though some invisible staffy lifted the "no discussing politics" rule while I wasn't looking and people started jumping all over it.
This had better be the last SOPA-related entry I see.
What is SOPA? For those of you who don't know, it stands for the "Stop Online Piracy Act". There is also the closely related PIPA (Protect IP Act). If you want to know more than google/bing/yahoo/idontcare it.
The bottom line is that it is a political issue and, as such, is not allowed to be discussed in any way, shape, or form.
Yet another thing I see pop up often enough when rules are broken is this outlandish idea that "I can say what I want about forbidden things and then just lock the entry so nobody else can comment on or discuss it," isn't breaking the rules. Newsflash, guys. It doesn't work that way.
Enough is enough, people. So, knock it off before I come at ya with pancake turner.
