U know better than that. Linking or alluding to sites with commenting systems (or in this case outright mentioning it through bold letters), not to mention sites with illegal streams is against the rules. Come on. You're pushing it bro. Really, seriously? -DV

You know, coming in after a staff member edits your blog with the obvious rules you were very obviously trying to get around and adding in a "bleh" isn't going to help you. It makes you look worse. -DV

BLEH. Is there some sort of rule against it?

jsyk, I don't mean any disrespect, I'm just trying to have fun with you. I'll stop if you're serious.

Oh, I see.

What I love about this site is that you have to respect the staff, but they can run telling you saying "bleh" makes you look worse then you already do.

I understand the rule and agree with it, but at the same time, it could be a lot more clear in Blog HQ. There are a lot of obscure and unwritten rules, and it would behoove everyone if they were explicitly written down in the blog rules.

Well, it's pretty difficult to stay mad at the staff when they replaced your hidden message with a very hilarious one of their own.

Explicitly breaking rules mentioning site with commenting system = looking bad

Purposefully trying to "code" the site so it wasn't a direct reference = looking bad

Having a site streaming illegal content as the one you're referencing = looking bad

Doing this all knowing that it is against the rules = looking bad

Then coming in and making a "bleh, this is stupid I should be able to do what I want" type of comment = looking worse

Pretty simple.

Also, signing my name and text to the edit isn't "running". And yes, you have to respect the staff when we are acting as official arbiters of policy. I believe that's why you lost proto in the past?

I wasn't blehing because "this is stupid I should be able to do what I want",

I was blehing because I wanted to.

Yes, once.

Also, might I add that the stream isn't illegal?

Uh, the only "legal" streams online are ones sanctioned by the parent company. So unless it was streaming via the Hub or Hasbro or Discovery, then it was illegal.

Well, they sure as heck don't mind.

They may not mind, but that doesn't change the fact that it is illegal in the first place. It's like someone's house getting broken into, but the owner not minding.

The amount of concern or apathy by a company does not equal legality. The law is the law, separate from the amount a company cares.

Hasbro actually does, as they've been working very hard recently to shut down MLP streams and remove them from video-sharing sites. It's been kind of a big deal.

Okay, I got the idea now. Hasbro doesn't like the streams, I broke the rules, and I won't do it anymore.
